War Cleric

For Lissa, I think Sage would be better unless she's been greatly strength blessed. They get the Rally Magic skill and tomes, which help more than axes.

Personally, I think War Cleric is better suited for your avatar and maybe some kids that have been set up for hybrids like it.

I actually decided on making Lissa a Falcoknight. She is turning out surprisingly good. Best of all, it allowed her to have maximum mastery in both staves and lances.

I usually team up Lissa and my main character. Once I got her to war cleric it was amazing. She can heal and attack, and war cleric get's Rally as well and pretty early on if I remember correctly. I respec'ed my main to Myrmidon and those two are amazing together. His attacks are strong, but if he can't kill it Lissa usually has enough power to finish it off. And I love being able to attack and heal with the same character, makes me feel that I'm not wasting a slot by having someone just standing there waiting for something to happen.

Has anyone tried the War Cleric class yet? Is it good? To me it doesn't seem that great because most healers have low strength growths but maybe that doesn't really matter in this game because of the Second Seals. I'm really not sure if War Cleric is a decent class or not. Basically, I need to choose between War Cleric and Sage for Lissa and I really can't decide. Any suggestions?

I will probably be choosing Sage for her finale class, I also would recommend it.

War Cleric Lissa does like 3 damage with Axes at the beginning :s

I can't wait to change class with mine, she is actually pretty badass for a healer right now.
