That was chapter 4, managed to kill both sides and had Frederick tank in the door tunnel. After that been smooth cruising since i can grind units on dlc maps Lunatic+ here I come

I can't get past Chapter 2 on Lunatic. >_>

But, I can beat the game on hard mode. And I am a newcomer to the game series.

This Lunatic is a real beast I haven't even attempted it yet.

That's pretty good that you can beat it on Hard mode being a newcomer.

Yeah. But only with the mode where units come back.
(Also, do you like playing "physically" or "specially?")
Like, Swords for Physically and "Mage" powers for specially? (I like playing specially)

I specialize in mostly magic (Aversa's Night/Nosferatu Sorcerors) but I do have a couple of physical units and tanks.

Lunatic's first five levels is really easy if you ride Frederick (and just grind your other characters in the DLCs after).

Lunatic+ took me a while since I wanted to feed all the experience to my MU, and had to reset a bunch of times when too many of the units had those impossible skills or when my MU had bad growths (you need a specific amount of speed and defense each chapter)

Lunatic is just as hard as you want it to be. I mean, if you can get past the first four chapters, then the DLC opens up, and then it's just a question of if you want to go spend your time grinding your units/buying units you grinded up beforehand. Even without DLC, you can dance grind Olivia to become a goddess in Lunatic. I actually didn't even hire my old MUs until I played Lunatic+ on my third playthrough (didn't buy DLCs until Lunatic+ either, was planning to play normal only for the story. then i was planning to only play lunatic. then bam after I beat lunatic and grinded my streetpass team I was like oh well might as well do Lunatic+ lol).

You can always just play normal and beat everything with no grind just for the story, people have their own preferences yeah. I didn't want to do work again (well work after the first 4 chapters) since I was on my third playthrough (and grinded like crazy for streetpass team on Lunatic) and wanted to lessen the grind when paragon comes out and i have to level my streetpass team all over again and also a team for the ultimate dlc.

Lunatic can actually be beaten, story-wise, pretty easily/fast if you just focus only on Chrom (as support paladin) and MU as a sorceror. Those two can just beat the game like that, except maybe or maybe not on the last stage lol. There's very minimal grinding (if you use the easy Frederick trick to get past the first 4 chapters), if you baby the MU and give most of the experience during the first 4 chapters you don't have to grind period to beat the game story-wise. The MU Sorceror with the right skills setup and nosferatu/aversa's night can single handledly solo the game paired up with chrom so Chrom doesn't die and you can just beat the game with that pair. I pretty much did a no grind Lunatic run by doing what I said in bold, I only grinded after I beat Lunatic to make a decent streetpass team before I started on Lunatic+. The other easier minimal time version is by doing the Frederick videos I linked for the first 4 chapters, then grinding (very minimal since you get a level per kill in the exponential growth dlc, and you have no seals in the beginning) MU + Chrom then you can solo the game with them.

Grinding-wise (for the ultimate DLCS and stuff) you're correct though, it would take longer than normal since the higher the difficulty the higher the internal cap is (you level slower as you keep reclassing).
The lower difficulties have a lower internal cap so you can grind much faster to cap stats on normal than lunatic+ (exp slows down faster for harder difficulties). And you'll need those capped stats for the ultimate DLC! Haven't had trouble at all with the other dlcs though (my MU can pretty much solo it paired up).

Normal: 60 (20(cumul); 20/20)
Hard: 70 (30 (cumul);20/20)
Lunatic 90 (50 (cumul);20/20)
I believe master seals doesn't record internal levels either, only second seals. I'm not 100% sure on the formula and this though

In other news, The Paragon (double exp DLC skill) is coming out on Thursday, which pretty much halves your grinding time! so worth it lol I'll finally be working on my ultimate DLC team then
