Wii U 3DS compatibility

Still waiting in the UK for friday. Has anyone else bought both platforms?

Is it at all worth it?

yeah the lack of online on the 3ds is my main motivating factor. I want the 'freedom' to play with my mates but if or when(as usually happens) they lose interest I wanna be able to play serious. just wondering how the transfer options work

The lack of Wi Fi is a real downer though.

There are zero issue with loading time with MH3U...only games that draws a lot of graphics like cod and such.

Been playing with my brother, he's on his wiiu and I'm on my 3DS, I've been pretty happy with how far I can go and still be connected for the multiplayer. I can wander around our apartment and still stay connected, and typically play in my room on my cozy chair while he's in his room.

Makes me happier since this means when he's not home I don't have to intrude on him and his girlfriend's room, just plug in the ethernet cable to the WiiU and use it to piggy-back my 3DS to online mode while still playing from my room.

That said, I look forward to HD play on a TV once that patch comes up.

Basically, if you want to play online using your 3DS (not your character from the 3DS version), you've got to tether your devices. It's rather stupid but, it's the best solution Capcom is willing to provide.

It's also supposed to be up on Nintendo's network sometime today.
