This will be my first Monster Hunter game. The demo already has me hooked. I am getting the 3DS version, and maybe the Wii U version in the future.

Monster Hunter has that effect on people. It's nice to see a neoseeker regular in this part of the forums .

Does that mean you're not getting a Wii U, EVER? I plan to get a Wii U for Monster Hunter, Mario, and etc, but mostly Monster Hunter.

Im probably not gonna get a WiiU i wish they made it for the 360 honestly because much more of my friends here who i got interested in it have a 360. i have another friend getting a 3ds and i convinced him to get a mh3u copy aswell. and when im going on my trip in april with another me and him are just going to swap off with 2 different characters and complete missions that way. He wants to be a HBG and i am still godly with the bow and GS and LS.

Acatia here, most likely under the cleverly thought of online name of... Acatia (smart eh?)

neji 9889 tempted me to play MHFU back when I got a PSP for like 40 bucks and I absolutely loved it. Got to the early high rank story quests on that playthrough.
Then I bought a Wii for Tri and played through the game twice (since my brother saved over my 1st character when he borrowed my Wii, but I still gladly did it again... I forget if I did Alatreon on my 2nd playthrough though, but we were farming Jhos anyway).
Bought a Vita to play MHFU with a 2nd analog stick (oh the joy), almost got to G rank that time before I ran out of time to play.
I did import Portable 3rd HD, but unfortunately at the time I had 0 skills in katakana and kanji and also... just had too much of a schedule to play.

THANKFULLY I learned and now spot some game time every now and then, I also expect this game to take most of that game time for a while so expect to see me around.
