Now including a creepy, epilepsy-inducing cinematic trailer
The Binding of Isaac's final content expansion, the DLC pack The Wrath of the Lamb, will be releasing on May 28. The top-down, Legend of Zelda-esque rogue-like will see a near-doubling in content with the addition of the DLC. Prepare for a ton of new, frustrating and borderline disgusting content
New content includes: 100+ new rooms; 5+ new chapters; 20+ new enemies; 15+ new bosses; 5 new music tracks from dB soundworks; playable character Samson the berserker; and a final chapter with a final boss and all new endings. Needless to say, the truly random experience of The Binding of Isaac has only become more-so.
The developer duo behind Isaac has also provided another creepy trailer to accompany their release date reveal. In a similar vein to their Halloween DLC trailer, this features a stop-motion, claymation style visual to it, mixed with poorly animated blood, fires, monsters and other assorted disturbing images. Also, take warning, you may want to avoid this trailer if you have problems with epilepsy. There's quite a bit of flashing lights.
The Binding of Isaac's DLCWrath of the Lamb releases May 28 for PCs via Steam, and will cost a mere $3.
