any ways to make fm run faster?

Started lagging just a little not a big problem but like it to run really smoothly. I already run on 2D camera through preference, only have english leagues loaded and tried playing around with screen size but makes no difference so keep it on windowed.

I do like to run internet browser in background but runs better if i dont, just worried how it will run in 5 or 6 seasons time if its slowing already, guess my computer just sucks.

Is there anything else i can do to improve performance without setting priority to high in the task manager?

i tend to have long saves so i make sure i have the bare minimum leagues (England - League 2 and up; Italy - Serie A only; Spain - Liga BBVA only; France - Ligue 1 only; Germany - 1.Bundesliga only)

i don't really use Chrome that often while playing further into the game and for music i just use the TV on Music Channels.

Out of interest what are your PC specs? FM is significantly faster on multicore processors with good amount of RAM.

Basically, it's one CPU that has the power of two or more. If you had a 1Ghz single core chip and a 1Ghz dual core chip, then taking away external factors, the dual core is twice as good. That's generally true but not always... like I said, other factors impact performance. Whether something runs better though is down to if it can use it properly. Older games will only use it as thought it was a basic singlecore CPU.

Ah right, so do i3s, i5s and i7s have multicore processors?

Yes. Generally, i7s are better than i5s and i5s are better than i3s, but like I said other factors come into it, such as the individual model and the generation of processor. An i5 today may match or outperform an i7 from 2008 or 2009.
