Can you keep your saved games, if you re-install Steam?

	Log in to remove this sponsored message I think I need to re-install steam, after my wierd money glitch/problem I am currently experiencing. I'm currently in 2016 though and i really don't want to lose my Fiorentina save, is it a case of moving the saved game folder to the desktop, then re-installing Steam and then putting the folder back? ------------------- La Viola, A Fiorentina Story

I believe when you uninstall Steam keeps your save games. I'm not 100% sure though, so what harm will moving them do?

	Definitely move the games and any graphics to your desktop or any other folder. Steam will most likely remove the Sports Interactive folder in your My Documents folder. -------------------

I would have done this, but thankfully I think the problem has been fixed. I had an error message which said the application will close, then I had a Steam installation box appear, the game restarted and I now think the money issue has been fixed! 	I think Steam backs some of the save games up to their 'cloud', but I don't know if this holds true for FM games as they can breach the 200MB file size if you are several seasons in. For future reference, just make a backup of your save and store it in another directory, that will prevent it being deleted when you re-install Steam.

	It should but copy the files to your desktop or a safe location if you're not sure.

	i uninstalled the game yesterday due to errors and when i re-installed all my files tactics etc were still there

	I'm almost certain it keeps the save game files, but you should back them up just to be safe.
