Have you considered building a computer? You could build a much better, solid build doing it that way, and probably for less, especially as you don't need an OS.

Building a computer can be tricky, and problems can arise from driver conflicts.

You don't really need much for a great FM machine. I would look for something with 8GB RAM, A decent graphics card, and if possible a Solid State Drive. The SSD is the critical factor, it speeds up load times in FM greatly, but you will want a regular hard drive installed so you have plenty of room to store your files as you will really only want your OS and FM installed on the SSD.

I'm on the side of building one too. I was very nervy about building mine as i only had basic knowledge too, but i found it pretty straight forward, the only tricky bit was the wiring. There thin wires and getting your hands in there can be awkward. Mine cost £444 to be precise, so it is over budget but at the end of the day, i have a fully customizable machine that should keep me going for years.

I went onto a website (ebuyer) although there are others available and the guys on the forum helped me out loads. They were very keen to do so, as that site is an online shop too, they gave me the links and order codes to the products i would need, which saved me faffing around google to find things i was unsure about.

The feeling when the machine is done is GREAT!
I've just ordered some more RAM now which will make my computer officially....a BEAST! lol

try looking on ccl online cheap pcs on there and can have without operating system.
