I am having a short break with FM atm. Playing Madden 07 and trying to study for my uni exams...

Hopefully i will continue this challenge (i am playing without editor modifications). I am still in league 1, teams is probably quite bad for L1 standard but i believe in my young players. Before latest season i got rid of the last non youth academy players who were here before i joined Boreham Wood in 2022.

And off topic, IcarusAbides i hope Texans beat Broncos tommorow. Not that i dont like Broncos (well Tebow left which clearly is negative from my point of view) but Texans are my favourite team in NFL.

mitjamvp I miss Tebow too but you can't argue with Peyton's class. Texans fan eh, there's more NFL fans (or at least people who have a fave team) on this forum than I thought there would be. That said I obviously want the Broncos to win, really don't want to be 1-2 after three games.

i cant say i am expert, i just started watching the sport like a year ago. I was sceptic at first, as i only had in my head one football, real football. But after watching couple of games, spending lots of time on wiki, reading interesting stuff about NFL, NCAA it got my interest. Now i dont just see overpaid players competing in a match where half of time you watch comercials but also the good - sport - side of it. I love the draft they have in usa, would be awesome but impossible to have something like that in europe football.
About Tebow, i know he isnt and probably never will be the greatest (although fans of University of Miami (not sure) will disagree but he has this special charisma, and when its needed he somehow performs. Now he is of 3 quarterbacks in New Jersey doing everything else apart from being a QB. If he stayed with Broncos one more season, learning from the great Manning, getting gametime when the team would need some speed on the ground he would surely improve greatly. Its not like Manning will stay there for many years.

And about Texans..they are just a special team (the drafted me on Madden 06 ) Last year they had their best season ever with injury plagued season and they had to use 3rd string QB in the playoffs...bad luck for them. It was their first playoff in franchise history. They even even beat Bengals in the first round. This year, with arguably top 3 running game, one of the best defenses in the league (well it was last year, unlike year before when they had statistically the worst defence), and hopefully less injuries they could get a bit further.

mitjamvp as parmar1993 says I wouldn't worry too much about off topic.

Tebow has the highest shirt sales in the NFL for the last two years so just from a shirt sales point of view it would have been a good idea to keep him not to mention that using him as no 2 QB would give the team great options for changing games around and messing with the opposition defence.

The Texans look good this year, they should easily win their division especially with that defence.

Oh and on topic just for a change - Renner-Thomas is injured again and I've now nicknamed him in game as Sicknote.
