Very happy with my transfers this season, even if I didn't manage to sell Downing or Zeli Ismail. Just trying to loan of Alen Runje to give him some game time since I've got Reina fit and Butland as his number two until he gets upset in January and leaves for a profit at the end of the year. Tried to loan out Lyon but he rejected both Leeds and Derby. Hoping Delorme has a very successful time at Inter so they give me £10m for him.

Discouting the current lads in the senior squad and despite selling alot of them my Reserves squad has 34 players in, 11 out on loan. All together (including seniors avialable for them) 49 players. Hopefully I'll chuck a few more out of the club in January if I get decent enough fees for them.



Quite a youthful squad as I enter into the second year of transition between experience and youth. As stated, Reina will remain number 1, with a view to becoming a coach before the end of the year, if he is a shit coach I'll try and cash in on his high value and give Runje full reign in the net, since Butland will want to leave by the end of the year for first team football. Duffy has become my second CB alongside Hummels following the move of Kelly. Coady will start taking over from Lucas, Tresor and Dennis starting to take over from Cavani and Suarez, Wickham and Boyd still rotating. That big money move for Neymar never did materialise.

Kennedy is just on the bench until Bale returns from injury, but will be back there when the game takes him out again.

This 3D match engine thing really is awful at times... slide tackling would be hilarious if it didn't mess up so bad, sometimes it looks as though the player just falls over on his arse. Movement of the players is flawed as well.

Just managed to scrape out of our Champions League group with a 2-0 win over Benfica! So many injuries...

Well that was easy

had the strangest season ever. 2012/13 with Kaiserslautern and a really good first half to the season saw me joint-top with Koln at the winter break, ahead of Bayern by a good four or five points and in a really good position. there were some decent players on the transfer list but my transfer budget was tiny, so when the board gave me the chance to change expectations, I opted to switch from midtable to Europa League qualification to free up around £4m without drastically heaping pressure on the team. I improved the squad with two or three decent players but somehow, disaster ensued. injuries to top scorer Itay Shechter and goalkeeper Tobias Sippel and two wins from seventeen meant a tenth place finish. what was extremely strange however, was that I was sacked. I had been going for Guardiola approach of only signing year-by-year contracts but I eventually decided to stay on towards the end of the season and accepted a new one year deal in April because my current one was expiring in the summer. three or four games later and I was fired unceremoniously despite finishing ahead of my media prediction of eleventh. suppose I didn't meet the board requirements but it was still slightly harsh, seeing as the downfall was more of a blip in form than anything else.

anyway, I was immediately offered the Roma job after declaring interest and took the opportunity in my first presser to slate my former employers. this looks like a decent challenge - they finished ninth last year, have a massive wage bill thanks to ageing players being massively over-paid and I have nothing to spend. should be interesting.

Liverpool_96 player wise? I picked up the transfer listed Sidney Sam and Teemu Pukki who were quite good. tips for the league itself.. don't lose loads of games? it's pretty tight. Koln were ridiculous on my save but they won't have Podolski on yours so I wouldn't be so worried. aim to win the majority of your home games and pick up as many points as you can on the road and you should be fine. I used a short, quick passing 4-5-1 counter-attacking system.
