still on my southampton save. in the 2029/30 season now and we're still going very strong domestically although over the last few seasons we haven't done so well in the champions league so it's my aim to try and win that this season. sold one of my academy graduates earlier because he wanted a new challenge, but another player from the academy has taken up his place in the squad.



still keeping a relatively young squad and continuing with my method of buying young players and developing them rather than buying world class players for stupid amounts with stupid wages.

Scott you need more Englishness in your squad.

Only a double for me this season as I finished the league with a loss against Stoke City. Whilst I did accept it was gonna be somewhat of a transitional period that will be extending into the 2020 season I didn't expect to do as bad as that in a sense. Again, the Champions League title evaded me, fifth time as runners up although a positive was gained as I knocked out Barcelona for the first time in six attempts.

Reina was club captain with Hummels as vice-captain although they missed the last ten games with injuries meaning that Runje was placed in the net at only 19yrs old. He went on to play 17 games in total, did Runje, keeping an incredible 11 clean sheets and conceded 10 in them. Five of which were scored by Barca at the Nou Camp. With Reina approaching 36, Runje will start seeing even more game time before his 21st birthday as he looks to establish himself as the Croatian No.1 despite strong competition from the older, Bernard Sokota and Srdjan Lokica.



Player missing from that list is Martin Kelly who left before I could do a screenshot. Threlfall I've only just promoted to the senior squad and Tresor came up during Suarez' injury late in the season. New contracts will be handed to those players who's up for expiry in 2019. Yet to decide if I'm gonna sell any of them, but if a good offer comes in for Neymar, he's out. Yes, Reina did get two assists from a hugely long clearance that somehow went straight over their defenders into the path of Neymar to score, twice. Usually I deplore hoofed ball like that, but even I admit that long passes are neccessary at the right times. Just hate when teams use it as their primary method of ball movement. Didn't want to give Dennis £69k a week, but he's integral to our future and I didn't want to let City have him so I swallowed my pride with that. Stupid wage demands

Hope HR don't get on to me about disclosing my players wages to the public aswell

All in all, I've got about four U18s who will also be coming up over the course of the next few seasons, as my youngstars start being blended in.

Won my first group game against Juventus, 2-1 at home. Didn't deserve the win tbh but I'll take it. Decided to give Wijnaldum his debut and he set up both goals!

I do that with Cavani there so I don't have my CBs scoring unrealistic amounts.

Hate how quickly player wages rise on this game. Only just get my wage bill down to around £1.37m and it's risen up by another £300k.

Apparently my new stadium is finished and we're set to move in later in July Would've liked it bigger than 78,000 though. I'll be damn annoyed if we hit capacity crowds instantly. I'll also be damn annoyed if I don't get a good increase on gate receipts aswell.

Would also be nice if the board got a record stadium name sponsorship. Something to rake in millions, and to make it so I don't have to look at the name anymore... Harbin Arena is a shit name.

My FK defending setup can be amazingly bugged at times. It either plays all their team offside and forces the opposition to cross to my wall or it plays them all onside and they've got an incredibly easy shot at goal. It either works brilliantly or fails catastrophically. 9 times out 10 though its the former.

Attacking, I have my best kick taker (this case Suarez), take the kick, my MCL (this case M'Vila and best passer) offering short option, three disrupting wall (AMR, AML and MCR), WBR on stay back if needed, the two CBs and the WBL stay back, and Cavani going forward. The DM is on default with the keeper. Unsure how it'll work though.

One thing I've noticed is that with corners, I set my AML to mark the keeper, STC to head it in (it's Cavani usually), DMC, MCL, MCR (both the MCL/R are set as corner takers) and the AMR lurk outside the box (It's only meant to allow one to do that, but that's broken on modern tactic setups), everyone else stay back. Regardless of that, it does sometimes chuck players into the box needlessly.

Need to fix my defending corners though. At the moment, everyone is set to go back XD.

EDIT: Changed it so the CBs mark tall players, the DM marks small players, the CMs man mark, the wing backs are on the posts, AMR closes down the corner, the AML is outside the box, and the ST is forward. Something I've always struggled with is defending corners.


The goal analysis puts goals conceded from corners as 3, with us conceding the most from a pass. Could've sworn it was the other way around. Mind you, according to that, during the last 50 matches we only conceded 13 goals. Over the course of last season, we actually conceded 19. Goal types though, we conceded 7 league goals from headers, and 7 from placed shots.

No idea how the game has worked that out... unless it doesn't count own goals as goals.
