Suarez is back from injury. He better not get taken out again. Decided to go back and test out the modern tactics again to see if I can get Tiki-taka working in that, using my actual preferred team shape. With the exception of Reina, naming a full strength squad against Birmingham.

Is it every player that has an inherent flaw in all players that when they cut in and take shots at angle they all have to go wide.

No idea why but Birmingham always do well against me. Won 2-1 thanks to an own goal and Joe Dennis, who is becoming a cult hero of sorts.

Not sure how this 3D match engine works either... twice I've seen players just fall over and give the ball away. The modern tactic needs more work on it... set pieces, player instructions, that type of thing.


Also, why is M'Vila white?

FM nearly giving me a heart attack. Game crashed on me, thought I lost my double, only to find out when I loaded it back up I saved it just after winning.

Yeah but I have a white(ish, more of a tanned white instead of albino white) regen that the match interprets as black

Think I'll let Steve Clarke do whatever the *bleep* he wants against Fulham.

Gonna try out a new tactic with Italy, formed around having a libero and an extremely high defensive line to cope with having no DM. The plan is the SW stays back, the CB move into space between where normally they and DM would sit, and pass around the ball as if they were DMs. I'm actually losing track of all the tactics I'm using.

EDIT: He got Fulham relegated with a 1-0 win.

EDIT: Did the same against Stoke. Lost 1-0.

Anyone had John Fleck on this years game? Tempted to sign him because of his attribute and seems too good for the SPL, yet don't actually have room for him in my squad. Same story with Steven Fletcher TBH. Always rated him as a good player.

Was just about to look forward to taking Italy into the 2018 World Cup only till I realised the reason I got the job is because the previous idiot failed to qualify XD

Not taking them to the Olympics, that's a task for the U21s manager. Don't look forward to the Euros with them either, although I've got to qualify first. Italy have turned quite bad on my game, so I won't expect to win it for them. Don't think I'll be leading them past the Euros anyway.

Way to shatter my confidence for the CL Final FM, by mentioning Real Madrid's 9 CL titles to my 0. We'd have 10 if I wasn't cheated out of the five finals I've been to. Missing Lucas due to suspension aswell, which means Coady has a hard job to do. I thought red cards were cancelled out for the finals anyway Without my captain Reina, and Vice-captain Hummels for this game. Not fit enough to play. Coady will captain the team.

Arsenal have also offered Kovacic to me for £7.75m. Rejected because I don't need him. I've got Wilshere and young Bosnian Joldic.
