It's took five attempts, 4 final defeats, and the away goal rule but I've finally knocked out Barcelona in the Champions League, a very nervy and somewhat dirty encounter in which my team played like utter shite in the first half and Barca played like utter gods during the match. Lucas earned himself a two week fine for getting himself banned for the final, meaning Coady will need to play his heart out in DM. Not sure but hopefully all the injuries will be free to play. Suarez is due to return for the FA Cup Final and the last two matches, the rest may just miss the final league match against Stoke.



When they pulled it back to 5-5 I was thinking, oh *bleep* off, so I went Chelsea and played 4-4-1 with 4 defenders, 4 DM (2 DMs and 2 WBs) and a striker.


Play Real in the final on the 26th May. Now can I please win my first ever CL title on FM13 hmm SI? Hopefully I'll have the title wrapped up when I play Swansea and the next game against some other smallish Prem club, so I can focus on getting the FA Cup, play youth and reserves against the last two matches and focus on beating Real at the Swedbank Arena.

The arena is close to being finished. It's a big project replacing AIK's, and our national, arena Råsunda which is considered one of the ten landmarks around the world by FIFA (only looking at arenas). Råsunda was built in 1937 and it's last game will be when AIK host Napoli in the Europa League later this year. Friends Arena (originally Swedbank Arena) will house up to 50k people for football games, but will be able to be scaled down to 30k, to better suit AIK's needs. It's a modern arena, creating an intimate atmosphere, and has given AIK financial benefits which has helped us improve our squad already. I was impressed when visiting it last year, and believe it will be a step in the right direction.

Almost lost my first cup final in any competition against Sunderland in the League Cup lol. Used a full strength squad yet, most of them decided to play like utter shite. First Mascherano gave away a needless penalty, then my defence forgot how to defend and my forwards forgot how to score in a terrible first half display with the score level at 1-1.
I took off Damiao off who was utter garbage upfront and my senior dlp Carlos at half time and gave the team the hair dryer treatment during the break, but it seemed to have no effect on them. Within 7 minutes of the restart, I was 3-1 down lmao. Papadopoulos was having an absolutely shocking game, so I dragged his sorry ass off the field around the hour mark.
With crazy man Papadopoulos off the field, the defence looked solid again, and the come back was on! Fierro grabbed his first goal after latching onto a fine pass by Niang on the wing before calmly slotting the ball past the keeper. He got his second and the equalising goal right at the death after some nice play from Abraham to put him through.
It was all one way traffic in extra time, with Abraham coming up with a special goal to put us into the lead, and then scoring a penalty to kill the game off.

Xpronic grats on getting through, and looks like you bombarded them, but I'd be concerned with how many shots your team wasted. 43 shots, only 13 on target, 9 clear cut chances yet only 5 goals from it. Would've expected that match wrapped up at half time TBFH.

The game was a load of bollocks tbh. I beat them 6-2 and 5-0 in the FA Cup and league following that match ffs lol.

Gz on beating Barcelona and winning your sixth league title! Thankfully, they are not gods among men any more on my save, now that most of the original squad have left or retired haha. Real Madrid on the other hand have gone drastically down hill, currently languishing 12th in the league and the season is almost over.

TBF though this is my seventh season on this game.

Barca have quite alot of good looking Brazilian regens. Madrid won La Liga this year comfortably though. Barca have a game in hand and are one point behind Malaga in second. Stoichkov has done a great job with them.

Believe or not, Arsenal and Man Utd might be going the same way on mine. They've been unbelievable poor this season. Atleast one is gonna miss out on a Europa League Place, there going through the Liverpool phase at the moment.


Just wondering if you're actually bothered about your relationships with other managers on this game. Does it actually have an impact if some old sod managing another team dislikes or likes you?
