That is completely unfair FM... Reina is out for a month with a sports hernia, taking him out on the busiest point of the season meaning he'll miss any finals we make and the last match of the league. Missing my captain for important games against Spurs and Barca... twat.

My backup, a 19yr old keeper I wasn't expecting to dump into the deep end yet.

Great. FM has now decided to injure Suarez until the last two matches of the season.

Recalled third fiddle keeper 21yr old Benov to be backup on the bench. He's been quite poor at Nurnburg but played regularly enough.

Through to the FA Cup Final, getting revenge against Spurs 2-0.

Anyone had any experience with Adam Campbell. Just signed him for my Spurs side and so far he has 4 in 7 wih 1 assist.

I've got him on my Liverpool save, and he has developed into a pacy, decent poacher of the Owen type, but not the style of player I have in mind for my squad. Plus I've got better youngsters available.

Significant result for three reasons:

1. First time I've beaten them at home.
2. First time I've kept a clean sheet against them.
3. Half way there to registering the first time I've knocked them out of the CL (failed in the fifth previous attempts)

Was a great match, and had some great play, some great chances and some cracking saves from both my young, second choice Runje and Valdes. Reina look out. Gaspar Tresor also particularly impressed after coming up from the U18s to debutise for the injured Suarez. This guy will jump the Reserves when he turns 18 next season and follow other young players to moving up to the senior squad.

All I want at the Nou Camp, is atleast one away goal rule so I can go through on away goals when they inevitably score four.


Tricky tie against Newcastle who sit 5th and trying to catch up to Spurs... however I sit 1st, five points above 2nd and with my second leg coming up against Barca, will risk throwing this match so I have as fit a team as possible to face them, and finish the job at the Nou Camp... then hopefully it's plain sailing until my FA Cup Final against the Brummies and the CL Final against Real/Lyon. I want that elusive CL title above all else.

EDIT: OH har har, thanks FM for not playing the squad I picked... what use is Vrsaljko as a LWB and M'Vila as a RWB? I wanted to play Jack Robinson on the left. Oh, and cheers for injuring Joldic...

DEDIT: Nuked Newcastle (trademarking that phrase) 2-0 thanks to Boyd and Krul. Should've had more. 70% possession, 100% of the shots, 50% (pretty much) of them on target. Joldic is out for the rest of the season though now.
