So I started off as West Brom on MUFs update. Think I've finally found a save where I can have a fun long term game.



Decided to sell Fortune, he wasn't going to get any game time here with Rosenberg,Odemwingie,Long,Wood and Lukaku all being ahead of him in the pecking order.

Needed a 3 rd choice keeper so decided to go for Blackman. He has great potential and for £50k I cant really go wrong. If he develops well he should be 1 st choice when Foster gets older and starts declining.

Wanted a back up Left back to compete with Ridgewell. Van Anhoult has great potential and was a steal at £325k

Final signing of the window was Young Robbie Brady from United. I felt I needed another LW and Brady is a great potential for the future.

All in all I'm pretty happy with my squad and transfer dealings. Decided that's how I'm going to go forward in the future no big money signings just youngsters to develop and sell on for profit or keep in first team.

Now onto the results.



Not a good way to start off the season but I left my ass man in charge of pre season friendlies and I don't know what he was doing but all my players had very little match fitness.



Much better result with my players match fitness improved we went out and dominated. Don't know what Jussi was doing for the own goal mind lol. Lukaku's shot rebounded of Tomkins,Jussi scrambled down to pick up the ball but completely missed it and just watched as it rolled into the back of the net.


Another fine result before my players go off to join up with they're international squads. Really think I can stay up if I carry on my form against sides like Wigan and West Ham.

Have Spurs up next. Expecting a drubbing tbh. My team has plenty of goal scoring potential but up against a team with Bale,Lennon,Modric,VDV and Adebayor in I can see them tearing me apart.

The one you showed me. I also used the tactic you showed me to create another tactic basically its the same but its 1 striker and a DM for when I face the bigger teams.



For *bleep* sake . 1 bloody shot on target out of 9. How can Lukaku go from banging them in to not even getting a shot on target against Spurs. In truth we were really lucky in that match. AVB made some *bleep*ing odd selections, Sandro on the right wing and Vertonghen in DM.

Ah fair play I'm not sure how fast WBA's defenders are but is the high D-line working effectively?
Unlucky on losing to Spurs, doesn't look like you got smashed though, so that's a positive, good luck on the save as well.

I never really thought of the effect having a high line would have on my rather slow defenders.lol They don't seem to be having too many problems with it though and the Jara own goal was a result of deflection from a corner so that didn't have anything to do with the defence's lack of pace.

I'l keep things the way they are for now. Something I'l probably look to address at the end of the season. This season though is just about staying up which I think I can do even with the high line and slow defenders lol.

Viva Fergie It won't have too much of an effect anyway, as long as you don't have someone ridiculously slow. I remember playing a 34 yr old Cathcart cos he wanted first team away from home vs Reading, and we were repeatedly destroyed and were 3-1 down after like 30 minutes, subbed him off and we ended up coming back to 3-3. Just be careful not to chuck your PC out the indow when Javier mother *bleep*ing Hernandez decides to go god mode on you

Aye I'm going to accept it, I'm gonna miss him somewhat though because as you can see he's a pretty good goalscorer when he plays , but I'll be saving 88k per week, and will also be gaining £23M so it isn't all bad
