3-5-2 in BSS?

I'm about to start as Eastleigh in the BSS, and I am looking to try out a slightly unusual formation for that level... I was thinking that a 3-5-2 with 3DC's, 2DM's, 1MR, 1ML, 1AM and 2ST's which I'm thinking will give me the defensive stability and hopefully result in good attacking play.

The problem I'm having is how to ensure that I don't get exploited on the wings, so would making my wingers more defensive and man mark the opponents wingers? or would it be more effective to have my outside DC's as stoppers and maybe 'hug the touchline'?
Also, would having no out and out MC's have an effect on the attacking play of the team, or would having the philosophy as fluid combat this?

I don't know mate, I usually just stick with 4-4-2 in the lower leagues because they aren't the fittest players to do be doing everybody else's work. I'd recommend just trying it in pre-season against similar level teams and seeing how you perform

Challenge Accepted.... but seriously, wouldn't using the formation in the BSS be perfect? It would allow me to iron out all the problems with it, whilst still getting promoted so that when I do manage to sign wing backs / defensive wingers who are up to the job, I won't have to mess about with the formation?

Thats what I was thinking, with 2DM's it should be defensively solid enough... I have played 4-4-2 or a variation of it in every save that I have had and after a while it just gets repetitive... I'm thinking that if my wide midfielders have good natural fitness and stamina they should be fine... I guess there is only one way to find out...
