Well away at Inter i had a man sent off after just 6 mins so stood no chance. I lost 3-0, yet even with this scoreline and the fact they had an extra man i still had 13 shots to their 12! Out of Europe, pretty annoying. This season in Europe my strikers have not been scoring like usual and my defence is conceding more. This could be a backlash of losing my amazing CB and CM (attacking) but replaced them with young promosing players so may take time to get up to the correct level.

BenjiHibs Thats some quality regens there, especially Cobo. Generally my team will be something like this:

Casillas
Arbeloa Pique Ramos Jose Angel
Busquets Xavi
Iniesta Thiago Fabregas
Villa

Azpilicueta is slowly replacing Arbeloa with some great performances. Alonso broke his foot and Busquets has stepped in brilliantly. Thiago has been absolute quality for me in recent games. David Silva has been injured nearly every time international suty has come up, so he can't get into the team. Mata is in and out of the team and he has had some good performance aswell. Inigo Martinez is really impressing me at Sociedad and is now my back-up CB, ahead of Albiol who isn't getting much game time at R.Madrid. Munian is also doing alright when he gets a chance which is quite rare with the quality infront of him.

My World Cup qualifying went quite well:



I was really disappointed not to win all games, also quite disappointed not to keep clean sheets for all games. My draw came against Belarus and both goals against me were scored by Georgia's Leven Mchedlidze in separate matches.

Idiots defending again. Hummels scores an own goal (it was difficult for him to deal with since Bendtner was rushing in) but Reina pretty much was stood next to the ball as it rolled in. Needlessly conceded. Won 2-1 though thanks to Cavani and Bale, so a win in Rome will send us through to the next round, and a win against OM in Marseille will see us top the group for definite.

Anyone got any good setups for defending freekicks? It's getting stupid now with my setup on this.

Might swap Neymar and Suarez around aswell, and get Neymar playing on the right and Suarez on the left because I think they'll benefit more from shooting on their inside foot. They're not doing to bad in terms of contribution but I feel they're wasting too many chances. It'll probably benefit Suarez more than Neymar though.

Just unearthed another West Ham youngster that could be making a debut in my England first team soon. He's on loan in the Championship but so was Daly last season when I decided I want him in my England squad. Critics can *bleep* off aswell.... Daly has been fantastic despite being denounced as untalented.

Other news, I wonder how long it is until Tottenham sacks Shearer. Since they sold Bale to me, they've been crap in the league and I recently trashed them 4-0.

3rd place will be good for me,top 2 would be amazing though.

My new possesison tactic appears to be working nicely with 4 wins from 4. We're top of the league and so far conceded 1 goal in our first 6 games which came in the Community Shield which we won 4-1 anyway. Last 4 results have been very good though:

Robinson was sent-off at 2-0 for Chelsea on his first game against us for an elbow but easily our best game came against Shakhtar, where Damiani bagged a double hat-trick; 3 goals and 3 assists.
