I know quite alot about it and ive been a good 20-odd teams but i can never keep a save going for more than 1 season. Im going to start a save as Newcastle and i was wondering who to buy, what positions need improving, and what tactics to use. Ive made it kind of realistic by giving myself £8 million to spend, plus its on 12.2 update so ive got Cisse. Thanks!!! team discussion

	Flippsey He's said he's "given them" £8m so he must of. I would re-invest that money into a RB, Danny Simpson isn't good enough imo, never used him myself but just doesn't seem good enough.

	Simpson will do the job for one season. You won't win the league but he is dependable and is very quick and has a good engine. If you are set on replacing him, look at a decent left back so you can move Santon to the right side or sign Sime Vrsaljko for 1.5million. Newcastle have some great players, look at your strengths and play to those. Obviously you have Ba and Cisse up front which is a fairly lethal partnership. You can play Ben Arfa in behind with Cabaye and Tiote deep in midfield. I would suggest signing another quality center midfielder (Badelj, Kara, Keita, Diarra) and playing a formation similar to the following. Krul Simpson - Coloccini - Dawson - Santon Keita - Tiote - Cabaye Ben Arfa Ba - Cisse Play a narrow formation with direct passing. Use Ba as a poacher with him as your target man set to run onto ball. Play Cisse as an advanced forward and Ben Arfa as an attacking midfielder set to attack. I would suggest signing Craig Dawson from West Brom, cheap and will be a long term centerback for you. Keita will join for peanuts from Barca and you can sell Gutierrez to pay for a move for Vrsaljko or Debuchy.
