Just starting my second season. Finished 6th in the first season but missed out on europe because Stoke and Swansea were the domestic cup winners and they finished 10th and 11th. Got to the semi's of the FA Cup where I lost to Spurs and was knocked out of the League Cup by Wolves.
Finances were/are questionable at best, I was £10m in debt up until I got the prize money for the league position, decided the best thing to do would be to rid myself of the big earners. So I had a clear out over summer.
Transfers: In: Robbie Cotton - Free Etienne Capou - £12m James Rodriguez - £2.3m Carlos Fierro - £5m Javier Pastore - Loan Gael Kakuta - Loan Vedran Corluka - Loan Matiaz Schelotto - Free Martin Montoya - Free Jose Campana - Free Moises - Free Rene Adler - Free
Total: £20m
Out: Marouane Fellani - £15.5m Tim Cahill - £5m Leon Osman - £1.3m Phil Neville - £400k Victor Anichebe - £3.8m Darron Gibson - £1.4m Anton Forrester - £600k
Total: £28m
Out of curiosity anybody that is still player, has Kenwright left the club on your games? If so, when did he leave and who took over?
schnix Yep. I've seen Pastore playing for QPR in the second season on a previous save. PSG have spent big and got rid of Ancelotti so its been all change.
Adler had been released and nobody was showing interest in him so I offered a contract, got him on a £30k p/w deal.
James Rodriguez was on the list for £5m, managed to get it down to £2.3m. He's played really well.
EDIT: I'm on the newest patch by the way in regards to Adler.
EDIT 2: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was on the transfer list, myself and Cardiff had a bid accepeted. He chose bottom of the table Cardiff over 4th place me. I personally thought I'd given him a really decent contract as well. Looks like i'll be picking him up for cheap after Cardiff are relegated.
I'm just starting my 3rd season in charge. Finished 6th (ahead of Liverpool) both seasons. Missed out on Europe because of domestic cup winners in my first season though. Managed to win the League Cup in my second season, so I enter the Europa in the third qualifying round.

3rd Season Transfers.

As you can see I've mainly tried to remove high earners from the club to try and steady the finances, was given £30m transfer budget for a top half finish at the start of the 3rd season which proves that its worked. I'm currently the 20th richest club in the world worth £130m (two spots ahead of Liverpool)
James Rodriguez claimed signing of the season last season as well, finishing with 12 goals and 31 assists for the season. Trebling his value in the process.
Mid March of the third season and i'm currently 1st by 4 points with 2 games in hand.
Obviously don't have the greatest team but they play amazing together.
EDIT: In January I let Jelavic go, £45k p/w was too much to be sitting on the bench. Brought in Alessandro Matri for £2.9m as cover for Fierro. Fierro got injured pretty much as soon as Matri signed so I played him from the start. Signed him on 1.1.2012 and by 15.3.2012 he has 20 in 20. Fantastic return.
I won the league in the third season and just had the Champions League draw for the next season and i'm only seeded 3rd. Surely that can't be right, i'm champions of England.
soccerking57 I think your right with the squad apart from the fact that Yobo has gone to Fenerbache. £10m could be around the figure doubt they'll spend that much though because Kenwright is notoriously cheap.
Cheers mate. I got Palermo, Benfica and Werder Bremen in the draw for the group stages, could've been much worse I suppose.
Starting XI GK: Adler (free) RB: Jenkinson (£7.5m) CB: Jagielka CB: Zouma (£15m) LB: Baines CM: Rodwell CM: Livermore (£2m) CM: Barkley AMR: Oxlade-Chamberlain (£14m) AML: James Rodriguez (£3m) ST: Matri (£2.9m) (Thats the team that won the league apart from Zouma and Barkley who took a first XI spot from Alderweireld and Wilshere (loan)
I'm looking for a new ST and possibly a new CM - BWM (Livermore) this season. Have £44m to spend so i'm wanting somebody world class.
I'm joint top after 9 games of the season and in my champions league group.
Goodison has been improved to a 50,000 capacity, got improved after the league win. I have state of the art youth facilities, excellent junior coaching and established youth network, also have top training facilities that are currently getting expanded. Also just been taken over by a local business man (still never had a tycoon) said he has no plans to invest anything and took out a £21m loan against the club to pay off Kenwright. Tosser.
Who'd you end up selling and signing? In my first season I let Distin, Hibbert, Mucha, Gibson, McFadden all go and Anichebe also went to Lazio on loan. Brought in Cuenca on loan, Emmanuelson and Mussachio.
EDIT: Had a very poor christmas period. 3 losses in a row including Palermo, Sunderland and Norwich. All games I should've won. Was in negotiations for Rossi, had a £15m bid accepted, he only wanted £45k p/w and I got rather excited that i'd be signing a world class striker for so cheap. Then I got the news saying the transfer had been cancelled. Turns out he's out for 6 months with a broken leg. Gutted.
EDIT 2: Just got to Jan 1st. Jagielka came 3rd in the Ballon D'or and 2nd in the World Player of the Year. Jagielka and Baines also were in the World Team of the Year. Proud day.
Just had a rather good season. Won the League, FA Cup, League Cup and Champions League.
Applied for the vacant Barcelona job, thought i'd be a shoe in but they went for Mancini.
Going to try and continue the dominance in England. Signed a new CB and RB/LB both regens. Also brought in Kadlec in January, cost £26m but so far it's definitely been worth it.
EDIT: Just been offered the Man City job to replace Mancini, turned it down flat. I don't want to manage any other English team.
I played him as a poacher, got about 40 goals in 80 apps so 1 every 2 game average. Not amazing and definitely not as good as i've seen some people get from him.
Poacher is the role that the ST in my team needs for the tactic to work though so had to play him. Ended up selling him 3rd season and brought in a couple of 'poacher' style strikers.
