After a long break from Football Manager - and this forum - I started again last night. Playing as RGOUR Minsk, and first season, I won the Third League. Second season I won the Second League, and currently I am in the First League (being the second highest) - and the opposition is much tougher.
I'm really trying to get the most out of my youth players as well.

Having just posted that my team trashed Villa 7-0, and Chelsea 3-1. The tactic again showing inconsistency. Cavani grabbed another hattrick though.

Bloody travesty on this game though. Again SI and FM show their constant bias against Cavani. How the hell can a player that has pretty much an average of a goal a game and 8.04 AvR over the course of a year, not win World Golden Ball (Ballon D'or), be listed as a starter in the lone striker role in the World Team of the Year, or win Footballer of the Year award? He didn't even make the top three, and only made the bench in the world team.

Ronaldo World Golden Ball, Rooney runner up and Messi in third. Rooney World Footballer of the Year, Ronaldo runner up and Messi in third.



What's even more frustrating is that he was only a sub on last year's World Team of the Year. What the hell does the guy have to do to get the recognition he deserves. I mean, he shit over everyone with his goal/game ratio.
