Seeing as the new patch is upon us for the remainder of the edition, a new project has begun for me. Earlier during the reign of FM12 you may remember my one season wonder with Dover Athletic, well i've took it upon myself to restart this game and hopefully if all goes to plan be playing European football with Dover sometime during the future of this save. I'm not too fussed about a timescale for this, but i'm going to estimate around 11 years possibly - give or take a couple of years either way. Oh and just to let you all know in previous saves I had Dosso with Valarenga, Neath and other sides well he's made the trip to Dover. :D

I have no idea, really I don't.
Tried everything to turn it round, nothing worked.
1-0 up vs Reading in final 1-1 2-1 down 3-1 down 3-2 in 81st min
no more attacks despite 4 players in attacking positions and on overload
*bleep* off fm
Stu owned. My Dover side have 4 wins from 4 games atm, we're doing alright. Dosso already has 7 in 4 games, come at us bro.

The base of my Dover Athletic side is pretty much sorted now as all of my incoming players from this transfer window are contracted on under £400 p/w and contracted until the end of the 2014 season. Only thing that could cause a controversial blip in the side would be the club turning professional meaning all my players would warrant new deals in which they would require ludicrous amounts of money seeing as I snagged them down to the Blue Square South. The majority of them could play up until at least League One so keeping the squad together would be a big ask, but then again a profit on free transfers works as a win-win situation. So far we've got a record of 13-1-0 in the BSS and sit in pole position 8 clear of second placed Bromley and are due to face Canvey Island in the FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round in the coming weeks, it's all looking sweet on the south coast. I'll make us the pride of the south one day, we're coming for that status Stu! #doverarmy

beat York at home in The FA Cup Second Round 2-0 both goals from the Dosso (his 24th in 23 games) and have gone on to draw Forest (A) in the Third Round. Game on.

fwiw harbin91 when I try to play possession football it seems to go one of two ways for me, it will go either me having great passing rates and possession count but a lot less shots/goals going my way which can get a bit irritating. Or alternatively, you try to correct the previous problem and you can't find the balance meaning you lose a significant piece of your possession in acceptance for a few more shots. Just need to find the correct balance. I'll try it out once again now, but I don't think it will be as effective nor reliable down in the Blue Square South, on the other hand if it is just call me Guardiola. edit: First game implementing this saw me win 4-0 against Eastbourne Boro, with 63% possession and an 80% pass completion rate including playmaker Anderson Silva completing 100% of his passes, my LW also completed 100% of his passes too, great start tbh. Only downside from that first game was that we only had 11 shots at goal and my Target Man was obviously a little isolated in the play at times, saying that Counago relished the chance alongside him. Just won the league title with 8 games to spare. Pretty sure my team would survive in League Two with no changes made, so if I can get even better players in whilst we rise through the division then we can keep the successive promotions running.

Finished my first season in charge of Dover and it was a satisfactory season which would have been better if I didn't play a weakened side and lose the qualifier to the FA Trophy against Chelmsford. Although, we did redeem ourselves considering we reached the Third Round of the FA Cup (lost to Forest) and we won the BSS, finishing 42 clear of second placed Salisbury. Quite the domination there, had a lot of good players contribute and we didn't even need any loan signings so the core of the squad stayed together throughout. Here's the individual squad stats from the entire season. Hoping to bring a few English players in during the off-season from clubs who'll let there players leave on free's after their contracts have expired so that i'm ready for the FL the following season, providing i'm promoted next year. £191k in the bank too, so we're alright for the time being. Anything else wanted, just let me know. :>

Vafoumbé "The Black Cliff of Dover" Dosso: Trovo: I'm certain both would be more than adequate in the Championship. Well providing I can keep Trovo and he doesn't retire. I've also turned down a £24k bid from Southampton for him.

Just signed a 41 year old Jari Litmanen on a non-contract so I don't have to pay him. Great addition imo.

My club has just turned professional thanks to my board, although I didn't request it. I haven't been in this situation before but I hope it means I don't have to offer new contracts to my entire team as I have them all on bargain part-time deals until 2014 at the moment. Dosso's requesting a new deal worth £2,700 but he can fo for the time being whilst he's earning £350 for the next 2 seasons. :>
