On the plus side, in the next friendly I used an all-knew squad that consisted of young players (10 uncapped) and I won Togo 2-1! I still hope I can get to the 2018 if I play well and renew the squad a little though. shandy Venezuela got to the WC quarterfinals in my save. 	Right....after much pissing about and hunting around trying out new saves I have plumped for Gabon, going to give this challenge a try with them! Had one or two saves in previous versions of FM and had enjoyment with them, and hopping to nick a couple of up and coming French players. GL all! ------------------- We are what we repeatedly do. 	I just wrote history by winning the African Nations Cup with Mali for the very first time! Group Stage: vs Nigeria 7-1 vs Ghana 3-1 vs Sudan 0-2 Knockout Stage: vs Ivory Coast 1-0 vs Morocco 2-1 vs South Africa 2-1 I got offered the job in Egypt half way through the tournament...weird! I think I'm very close to qualifying for the World Cup now. I already got 2/2 in the group and after that tournament I feel confident against anyone in the Knockouts. Edit; I also just got offered the job at Ivory Coast. And got Mali to the 17th spot in the Rankings which is an all-time high.
