Had a game with Ajax on last years game and got a few seasons in so I thought I'd give them ago on this years edition.

I've just reached October in the first season, it's going nice and dandy at the minute.


Diarra, Jensen and Bannan were all brought in to fill up the midfield as I'm playing a narrow 4-2-3-1. Rodriguez is my new left back and Quintero is a bit more competition up front.

I let Özbiliz leave as I don't need wingers. As for Cillessen, who would have been my backup goalkeeper, he started complaining about first team football after the first few games. So I said I would loan him out and I got a few offers, all of which were accepted and he chose to go to Madrid. As for how many games he'll get only God knows.


A fairly good pre-season although not overly testing.


Delighted it didn't go into extra time but we should have already been a few goals up.



Disappointed not to have beaten NAC Breda but other than that no major problems.



Not a particularly easy group but in the first two games we've played well and managed another late winner against FC Bayern. The draw against SLB was also a good result as we were playing with 10 men for most of the second half due to injury.

I just loaded mine up then for a quick match or two. I did well in the league but I got beat by Liverpool 2-0 in the group stages and they were both own goals I need defenders who do well in big games. Any suggestions?

I have Liverpool, Fenebache and Porto in my group and I'm 1-1 with Porto at half time so far

Edit: Game finished 2-1 to Porto and I now have a point from 3 games and I sit bottom of the group. I doubt I'll qualify

Edit2: I didn't qualify for knock out football, in the EL now. I sold Vermeer for 6.5m to Sevilla, great price for him. I managed to sign Stegen to replace him for 7m. I'm quite pleased with those transfers. My youth facilities got upgraded so I'm hoping some real promise comes through next season. I have signed a few youngsters as well, sitting top of the league by 3 points as well in January. How's everyone else getting on?

Sounds like a good game. Anyone added a 5th European Cup to the trophy cabinet, yet?

Just won the Dutch League for the second time. Going into my third season now and I'm really hoping to get further in Europe this year. I keep getting very tough groups. I don't know who to sign this season. I would like a world class CB but I doubt I could attract anyone of that calibre yet.

Let's get this back up and running, anyone doing an Ajax save? Was about to start a new one now, with the goal of developing the youth and buying little as possible. First task seems to be to buy a keeper.
