Yea tidus04 so do I but Ivanovic preforms better there so thats the reason I play him there.

I may have to consider playing him there or buying a replacement, Bosingwa's stats have gone down dramatically (2 star to give you an idea) which isn't good. I am halfway through the season now so I could buy someone in the transfer period but I am planning on leaving it till the end of the season.

Currently sitting in third place in the league behind Man City and Tottenham due to my failing's in the busy December period which I went into top. I had tought injuries with both Terry and Luiz back but in there first game back I still managed to lose 3-0 to Blackburn then a few games later drew 4-4 with Fulham after being 2-0 up. Quite disapointed but I can only get on with it, top 6 finish is my target so I can't argue really.

Champions League draw I have got Benfica and I just beat Burnley in the next round of the FA Cup.

Things are getting a bit tricky. Just into November 2012.

EPL: 4th; Won 5 Drawn 4 Lost 1. 19pts.
ECC: 1st; Won 3. 9pts.
LC: Out. 2-1 loss to Ipswich.

I have mostly defenders on my bench for EC & will throw some youngsters into the deep into for EPL cover.

Does anyone have a guide for playing 5-4-1?

So just started a new game with Chelsea, wanted to share what's going on, please also let me know what you have done differently if you like. So far done the summer period from June-August 2011/12. So starting off with the transfers in euros.

So that's taken all my transfer budget & my wages are about 40 grand in the red for now. Quite happy that I got some good money for some of the older players rather than losing them on free transfers. I am continuously creating a shortlist for next summer with some more targets. In regards to sorting out the finance my only plan so far is to offer Paolo Ferreira for about 2million in January & will be saving his wages that are about 40k+ per week. Do you think I will get offered anymore transfer money for Jan? is it worth asking? In FM11 it used to come up automatically where the board would offer me more funds to strenghten squad. haven't come across it much on FM12.

Now in regards to tacticts i play 4-1-2-3 with two centre backs, the fullbacks at an advanced position when needed, a holding midfielder, two central midfielders, two wingers & a centre forward. I play a fluid attacking game & ask the team to be more expressive, play a wide high tempo game with cautious tackling. In regards to results i can give you up till now & will update as I go along. So far haven't lost a game so not bad although I was disappointed with some of the draws.

Just to let you know, Gary Cahill settled in nicely next to John Terry at CB although he did have an unlucky own goal on his debut or 2nd match i think ! After those two draws I hope we can start scoring more goals, think it's time to unleash the Neymar! I bought him at the end of the transfer window so unlike Cahill hasn't played yet.

After the united game we beat Fulham 3-0 & had a 0-0 Draw against Everton.

I think I'll have a crack at City or Arsenal...and a dozen other teams before trying as Chelsea again. Depends where I can settle.

Well that's fair enough, I mean I may be deemed "doing well" atm though my formation I have built with this team over 3 saves so I felt it would have an alright impact, its just the rebulding and getting quality players back and for the future that will be the main challenge.

Good luck with them other saves if you do attempt them.

That's a great achievement imo, for my last Chelsea save (where I didn't do what I am doing now) and I had a much stronger squad I only finished 4th :(

Wait Adidas, you come second and then got sacked at the end of the season? I must be *bleep*ed then cause I doubt I can do that.. or maybe they just don't like losing a few to many games or something.. who know's.

I think he is alright, will improve and is rated my best midfield atm too (4 and a half stars) due to playing so much and doing well. He could improve of course and do better but for the wage I feel he is one for the future. I just don't want it to go up too dramatically though if a cheap replacement could be found I am sure I would cash in.
