Bertrand's started 12 for me with 6 sub appearance's and has a rating of 7.15 over all competitions. He did just start against Napoli away in my first CL match v them (1-0 win btw, 90th min Mata goal) and he did well under my change of tactics (semi-overhaul tbh). I dunno if he will become better then Cole in the long run but he is a good back up for sure. It's up to you really, again I feel it would be a risk but it certainly cuts your wages right down. Maybe reinvest the £12M in another LB as an option?

As said I've changed my tactics, not the layout but players tactics has taken a good look into, higher line and moved into control in home matches and standard in away. Also wingers are just cutting inside rather then hugging the touchline too. I felt I needed the change with to many goals being let in so a different approach needed to come into play but with all my injuries atm might hinder adjusting to it but its not much change.

4 points behind City atm and teams behind me have caught up, I could finish anywhere from 1st to 5th but 4th at worst seems realistic.

With Torres out still Lukaku start and made his 24th start of the season but then later on got injured along with Mata (now out for three weeks) and Sanogo and Bertrand (went left wing) come on. Lukickly he somehow scored in a game I was being *bleep*ing humilated in (got credited with it though it was off target?). So chuffed I got here, never done this in any previous saves. Just in time also as Torres, Rameries are back and hopefully I won't have any suspension or nout. Also Yaya would have played more for me but he's been out for 4 months, glad that lad is back. Future prospect I am hoping, really fits into my system.

In the league I am currently second only 2 points behind Man City with 3 games left each so I need them to draw or lose. I am currently +6 goal difference over them if they only draw but there last three games are much easier then mine. I got Everton, Fulham and then Arsenal. They have Nowrich, Stoke and QPR. So yeah I think I am dreaming of the double here :(

I managed to win the league on the last game of the season by beating Arsenal 3-1, went into the Champions League final in full spirit. Controlled the game with 21 shots but lack of finishing meant the game was taken to extra time and penalties after Terry equlised in the 90th minuet for me after Luiz scored a early own goal. Sagono and Mata missed penalities with Puyol missing for them, unfortunately meaning I lost 4-3 in the shoot out. A very good season but more incredible if I had won that too. So over my expectations its unreal.

im performing pretty well really ..im in the middle of jan ..top of the league by 4points ahead of city..in the semis of the league cup (just beat norwich 5-0 in the first leg) and have barca in the champs league knockout rounds also have southampton in the fa cup 5th round

Now ..the reasons for my sales were mainly due to me wanting my own stamp on the team..Drogba came out moaning half way through the season about lack of playing time so i decided to unload him and wages in jan..Fernando Torres is a strange one because he wasnt doing that badly..but when Erick Torres Who Has Played 15 Less Games Has The Same Amount of goals (11) u can tell somethings not right ..Im on the edge of signling Valencia from United for only 6mil ..i only will be signing Moussa Sow Or Papis Cisse ..if anyone else can reccomend me a few players or so that would be a help

I've been away for a while Adidas but I am back now to play a bit more, done all my transfers and such and this is how it ended for me.

Transfers

As you can see no real big signings which is basically how it is, youth players signed and older players sold. But this is running at a bigger risk then last season (where I had decent back up players) as now my back up players are all younger.

This is how my squad looks like for the new season.

League Winning? I doubt it.

The board want me to win the league, doubt it this season as last season was fortunate imo, as for Champions League I am hoping for the best. Got Napoli in the groups and Zenit but should so alright. Ashley Cold however is out for 2-3 months so Bertrand will be getting some first team action. Drew my first game v Wolves but won the other two, not playing to well atm. Always looking to sign more however if they appear at the right price.

Terry, Lampard and Cech may be leaving a the end of the season on a free unless I can negotiate there wages down, dislike the current wage but Cech I may have to accept as it is as he's phenomenal for me.

Just if I do get injuries again, if anything like last season again I may even lose Champions League Qualification which is only a problem if I were to get sacked. It isn't a concern if I did drop that far.

Romeu is there, he just isn't in the first team or on the bench. Khedria and McEachren are ahead of him though he will start in cup matches and when I rotate for fitness in CL/league matches.

He made 16 appearances going by his history for me with a rating of 6.82 so I am yet to know what to make of him as potential isn't there but he could be a great addition back up to have once Connor Clifford is sold eventually.

That was mainly a wage issue as I didn't see him being a vital player for me (Mata to me is World Class so £62k on him is okay... for now), his first season in the RW position (first choice) he rated 23 appearances, 2 goals, 4 assists where as Affeley (originally only on loan) made 36 appearances in all AM positions together and got 12 goals, 11 assists and 2 MOM's. Without comparing him it just see like he wasn't fit to play there with my tactics and I had a replacement instantly in Affeley so he had to go. He wasn't going to play as a lone striker for me as Lukaku and Sagono I have behind Torres atm.

I did hate letting go of an English player however but least he is getting first team football at Everton.

With Danny I did originally try and loan him out but no team's were interested due to his wage (even when I offered 0%) and sitting in the reserve team wouldn't have done him any good. I wouldn't have played him over my other back up players so to me he had to go. Also like said £60k of the wages helped. Terry, Cech, Lampard and Torres are my next targets to get rid off due to wages.

Well Khedria (didn't know if you noticed) is only a loan signing, it was a steep £1.9M signing on fee but I felt it was justified by making £3.2M on Essien and lowering the wage budget by £50K but I do get what you mean. I just felt I needed someone good there for back up but will always start McEachren over him.

Ohoh, you both have the same avatar, I didn't notice as I have them turned off so I always have to read people's names regardless :)

What does your team look like mate? and how are you getting on?

I've took over a mess, David Moyes guided us to 6th last season and rightly got sacked, ended up spending £1.8m on transfers whilst selling £73m worth of players, not a bad profit. Fairly pleased with the squad, I've got £124m available to improve it if I want to, don't see any need for it though, told the board that I'd challenge for the title so I don't think my job'll be in danger this season.

Ramires is in the reserves recovering from an injury, hasn't completed a full 90 minutes for 2 years.

Leandro has agreed to join in Jan 2016 for £17.75m from Gremio and I'm currently scouting Willian, hoping to get him for less than £30m, also brought David Silva on loan from City, only paying £16k p/w and can buy him for £2.8m.

tidus04 I'd keep try and keep JT and Frank if I were you, still very good players in 2015 for me.
