I couldn't shift either of Carroll or Bellamy either. Bellamy wasn't bad last season so I wasn't too fussed but Carroll was shite! pissed off that I have 70k a week just sitting there now.

Edit: and now he's injured for 4 months

So I have to buy a replacement now. I was looking to bring in Martin Olsson but looks like that may have to wait. I have Cavani, Suarez (Who is starting at AMR), Kadlec, Bellamy and Pandev for upfront already but Pandev was brought for backup on the wings not upfront so don't really want to use him and same with Bellamy. So may look to bring in another striker before the window closes.

How much did you get Carroll for?

Also, I don't see why everyone is buying superstars to replace Gerrard. For me, I have been using Shelvey quite often so far in the second season and he has 12 games, 1 goal and 6 assists with an average rating of 7.33. Also there is Henderson who turns out really good.

I went through the phase of wanting Cavani. Decided against it as Suarez can do the job and Cavani isn't the smartest buy financially. If you can get him cheap though and he doesn't want 160k like he did when I offered. It might be worth it. All depends on how much the whole package is financially.

I got Cavani on just over £100k a week. Expensive but can't be worse than Carroll. I didn't have another goal scorer really apart from Suarez. Managed to bring in some talented English youngster so chuffed with that. Got Hoilett for a bargain price imo. Wanted Adebayor but his wage demands are stupidly high! so went for Pandev on loan. have the option to buy him for £2.5m if I want to.

arvin5 how much did he cost you? He may be perfect!

I turned down the chance to sign Olsson, don't really need him atm. May go for him in January not sure.

He cost me 15m up front and 6m over 12 months. So far he has played 21 games with 20 goals, 6 assists and 7.55 avg rating. Here are his stats in my game.

Struggling to find other cheap, fairly good potential British/Irish players who are relatively cheap. Gone are the days ten years ago when nearly every team had a decent, British bloke available for less than £10m.

Problem is that I can't find the right team to play. Got any ideas? Have too many awesome players.

Err... heavy rotationing? Perhaps a first team for home games and a second team for aways?

Will be hoping for a better performance against City than the one against Everton... was that bad, Agger finished on a 5.4 rating, never had him drop below 6 before... or had any Liverpool player do that on me as a matter of fact. I don't really have funds to spend on players though... atleast not until January, but if they do shit like that again, I will be rebuilding my back line... including Reina.

EDIT: The game has decided to ignore my coaching assignments so I'll have to set them again now

There we go... just added Howard Schumacher to my goalkeeping coaches, I now how five... I'll get rid of one eventually and add a proper shooting coach to my team.
