i've had a fair amount who have came through with 3 or 3.5 star potential but i've only had davies and hatcher who have made it for me. i'm actually thinking of selling danvers shortly as he's dropped down to 2.5 star potential. i do have a rb who is 16 or 17 who has 3.5 star potential who i'm hopeful over but i'm quite strong in the rb position at the moment so he might have to go out on loan when he's home-grown.

i decided to sell welbeck after i wanted to give davies more time. i normally sell players when they hit 30 to get a good value on the sale but i think i might keep davies until he retires (if i get that far).

i'd try to sell him and get some money instead of risking losing him on a free. however he could want to discuss a contract in a few months time. it's a bit of a gamble. if he's an important player and you can afford to risk the fee, keep him. but if you don't have an abundance of cash available, try and sell.
