Wildstar, up to this point, has interested me purely because it has a very fun sense of humor that MMORPGs tend to avoid. It's like Ratchet and Clank... only MMO. Carbine Studios' latest trailer scratches one of my itches in an entirely different way -- by listing features. PvP, raiding, dungeons, episodic story campaign and oh dear oh my is that housing? They've got player and guild housing, everyone. Beta now, please.
I can't state clearly enough how big of a deal player and guild housing is to me as an MMO player. Guild housing in Age of Conan kept my friends and I playing that game months after its lifespan should have ended and I had a similar experience in Lord of the Rings: Online as well. Having a place of my own to fill with my stupid crud is... important.
As far as I can tell Carbine Studios sat down and said, "What are features MMO players want at launch? Let's put that in our game and make a trailer about it." Of course, the trailer is still full of that awesome Wildstar humor and sweet looking art style and animation. With beta apparently starting soon, hopefully Wildstar really delivers and we can get a Neoseeker guild going.
