Which characters should become playable in DW8?

We have to do this already? Give it a couple of years and i'll get back to you...

Well i'd like to see any of those you mentioned, but to be honest i'd only want new characters if they actually have decent character development and a story to drive them.

At the moment i'd say that Dyansty warriors doesn't need any more characters- DW7 failed to explore most of the stories of each character (completely missing some). I haven't played DW7XL yet, so I can't say whether or not more characters were took further, but I'd rather have quality than quantity.

What was that woman's name from Wei? The one with the harp? She might aswell not be there at all... a completely pointless addition. I wouldn't like to see any cuts from the cast again, it just looks clumsy when Koei bring the character back with a cloned moveset. Pang De *cough, cough*

I wish they would give Zhang Liao his dual dagger axes he had in dw6 back again so he and pang de wouldn't be so similar. And really Xiahou Ba should stay in Jin I think. He started in Wei and historically fought most of his battles there as well. Cai Wenji is only in the game because of Cai Yong.

You do know Jiang Wei and Xiahou Ba weren't "best friends" right? And that Xiahou Ba was a lieutenant general by at least 226 ad. And that by about 245 ad, he was protector of the army. And that when he made his escape, he got lost in Yinping and then broke his leg. Also when he finally got to Shu a crippled old man, he there is no record of any real military service.
