I haven't played the game since they nerfed the Bee. I like to fly through areas rather than spend hours in an area fighting my way to a boss that has a 0.00001% of dropping something half decent. Fair enough if they'd compensated something for it, such as more bank and backpack space. Giving out a few Golden Keys is just not worth it, especially since these days the codes only last about 10 minutes.

As another player, I could care less. I'm gonna do my own thing regardless. But if I were involved in making the game, I'd probably feel a lot differently about it.

Not sure, I mean depending on the developer, some of them are on record that they love when people find ways to "Break" or breeze through the game. There are a few that love it when people find these sorts of combos.

Really should have upped the capacity by like 2k with the lowered amp damage.

They sure did.. Gearbox giving in to the complaints has lessened my opinion on them.. I wasn't a fan of the whole "farming for rare items" - thing to begin with, now it's even more tedious.

First the Bee.. Next time something is complained to be overpowered..?

I for one, want something that is ridiculously overpowered, for after I've completed the game..

So.... Um... Yeah my Bee didn't get hit with the nerf.... How? I literally still have the exact same one as the before picture above...

Down side, when I loaded up with the new dlc, my game decided I didn't deserve my skins/heads and bad ass rank, and proceeded to erase all of that.

Actually, I think you are completely wrong. It has EVERYTHING to do with what the player wants. That is the point. They are the consumer, and from what I have seen on the Bee/Conference call combo... It's a pretty even call between elitists who think they should be able to dictate how other players play "right" and those who feel like it is their $60 (and more for dlcs) they should be able to enjoy their way. There is not competitve edge so no real harm. I think the single biggest issue that adds a ton of credability is the simple reality that Gearbox can not be so presumptuous as to think they can make "legitimately hard farming" a way of life for people. Borderlands 2 will not become a way of life, in fact I may no longer support the franchise over the nerfing. For me and my wife who got in late on the Borderlands 1 we were amazed. We bought the Game of the Year edition for like $39.99 and it came with so much stuff. We beat it all, legitimately because we are not n00b gamers... But at the end of the day, boy that Crawmerax just kept giving us fits. I actually figured out the "glitch" accidentally with my siren. We exploited it farming away for cool new weapon combinations that seemed endless. We'd farm crawmerax a few times then head over to Knoxx, fighting tooth and nail, then use the glitch (i did read about that one) in the floor to scope out all the cool stuff in the armory. Sometimes we'd head over to the Claptrap level (don't recall the name) and open up the basement cases too. It was fun. If it wasn't for that thrill of finding cool new stuff... then picking a level and testing it out, the game would not have had as much replayability for us.

Now with BL2 we took like a week long vacation and beat playthrough 1, then moved on to playthrough 2. Insanely hard, but fun. We felt accomplished when we got to the end... Terramorphous. Gearbox says (you need four people)... the two of us COULD have killed him if it wasn't for in that final health stretch he'd do the blackhole thing. Annoying. Frustrating. It wasn't skill at that point that was lacking... it was devlopment for single player/or local co-op players that was lacking. It was designed for someone/something else. Until of course we farmed FOREVER to get the Bee and Conference call... then back to what we thought was fun the last time... farming.

I'm sorry Randy but Borderlands isn't a way of life. It is a video game. Without new content it will get boring, and be playing elitist nerfing and desiging around required 4player coop. You just lost 1 sucker who has already turned in about $140 to this franchise alone...and a preorder stat. Between these stunts, RE6's strange awkward controls, and Halo's ridiculous short length... I'm losing faith to continue being one of the assholes that still spends $59.99 for a new game at launch. Seems like they always do the opposite of cool... Hoping Black Ops II doesn't screw the pooch too
