Just in case there are a few Borderlands 2 players that missed the news last week, Gaige the Mechromancer was released for download. To remind everyone to go try her out, 2K and Gearbox put out a trailer detailing the Mechromancer's skill trees and abilities. After all, it's tough to see bullets reflecting into enemies, anarchy buffs, and giant deadly robots without thinking, "Hey, I've got to try that out for myself."
The trailer's release coincides with the initial release date for the Mechromancer class, which makes us wonder what the rush was to put her out so quickly in the first place was. Unless, of course, Gearbox was trying to some advertising room for their first campaign DLC announcement. Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty comes out tomorrow, so you should probably check that out if you likey the Borderlands 2.
The Mechromancer DLC has been out since October 9 and costs about $10 or 800 MSP. Of course, if you're a member of the 'Premium Club' which came with Borderlands 2 preorders, then you'll get the Mechromancer free and it should be downloaded and ready to play for you ASAP. Borderlands 2 came out September 18 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Check out our review if you haven't already.
