info Glitch made the game harder

So i got Borderlands 2 at midnight at launch from Steam(UK). I fired up a playhthrough as Zero, and got to something like level 9. I was absolutley sick of dying all the time so i restarted the game as Axton and it was a little easier thanks to his turret. So anyway i told my fears to Ajax, saying i thought there was a certain glitch to make the game harder than it should be, but continued on. On Playthrough 2 as Axton, i get right near the end and come accross a Badass Buzzard, which can kill me very easy and flies all over. Now this was gonna take too *bleep*ing long to kill, so i gave up. I had already decided to make a new character as the Mechromancer when she became available, so i was delighted when she was released a week early.

So i fired up a new game as Gaige last night and instantly fell in love with her. But the thing i noticed most is that the game seems alot easier than my 1st playthrough. I remember the fight with W4RD3N as Axton, it took about 17 deaths and 4 hours to kill him. Yet this afternoon as Gaige the same level as my Axton was, i died once and only took 10 minutes to kill W4RD3N.

So if the game seems impossible, and you feel its harder than it should be, dont fear, you're probably right.

After all this time, 4 Aces, have you got any new insights as to what you did "wrong" back in when you were new to the game?

4 Aces - Badass buzzards are one of my most hated enemies precisely because they seem unfairly tough. Though the right equipment (Corrosive launcher for example) can make fighting them a much less unpleasant task.

Different characters and different setups make the game much harder or easier though. Same with equipment too. Like, The Bee is excellent at ranged fighting, but it would be absolutely horrible in a melee fight.

IE: My Zer0 was specced out as a Melee type from the get go. It made close-quarters fighting a breeze generally, but made fights against aerial enemies much tougher, because he had no skills to speak of that were useful against them. So he was especially bad against buzzards, which meant every Badass buzzard I fought was a bigger pain in the ass than pretty much any boss. Though, on the plus side only Zer0 can melee the air so hard he can make himself fly a bit XD
