Is it just me or do all shotguns have rubbish accuracy this time around?
They're not really worth using at anything other than point blank range.

I mean, in the first game, once you get The Blister (which is a corrosive shotgun with a scope) that's pretty much what you'll be using against Crimson Lance until the end of the game, unless you get a lucky drop.
But now, the best I have is a fairly rubbish level 16 hyperion corrosive shotgun that I've been using for like 10 levels simply because the accuracy of all other shotguns that have dropped means they aren't worth using.

I'm just bitter, is all.

I know what you mean. This is still my favourite Borderlands gun to date.

My current Assault Rifle is pretty good imo, it's called Incendiary Scorpio. Has about 251 base damage, small chance to ignite but does 169.8 burn damage. Pretty accurate and decent clip size.
I've also got a backup explosive minigun. XD

It's great for buzzards and surveyors.


It slaughters EVERYTHING, except armored enemies with massive damage resistance.

I just took out several dozen bandits, about 20 buzzards, and an army of Gryphons, using only this shotgun.

Here is a Sniper I found tonight in a gun locker in the Highlands. Crazy powerful (I'm lvl 19)...Only sniper I have close is a Jakobs that does about 1800 on a crit.




Here is the shotgun I was talking about earlier....it's not 70+% like I thought, but I have 5 points in Precision for Zer0 so it's very accurate. Low dmg but most all pellets hit every time. I can see myself using this one for a while.

Besides, high spread isn't that bad. I've used a shottie that was in the teens and it was very effective for a good while. Obliterated anything I came across. Rather enjoyed run-jump-shooting for shits and giggles.

You were spot on with that comment Shadow.

Yesterday i found two shotguns, one with 50.5% and one with 68% accuracy. Both have lost a little top end damage but as i said yesterday im more than happy with that. They also have huge magazines which is another bonus.

My bad luck also lifted as i found an orange weapon in a damn locker! Its a corrosive Tediore pistol with nice damage, a decent ROF and it explodes when reloaded, however it is also HEAT SEAKING when thrown. Pretty cool but its accuracy lets it down. Mneh, its just my first one. Hoping for an AR or Sniper next time.

Oh, and yes Shadow... Well Jelly LOL. But my day wil come soon. Just you wait.

And Whelan that is a bloody fantastic class mod. Awesome. You could build a really decent soldier with that.

Also at Eiche thats an awesome find so early on. Well lucky.

Yeah it is phenomenal against them. Eats them in seconds.

One thing i dont like is the Tediore reload. Its a great idea and i love it with shotguns or weapons with small mags because the most rounds you will ever use is maybe 4 or something. But i was reloading this pistol every two seconds due to my FPS mentality. I didnt realise it USES the bullets which are left. I went through 300 pistol bullets in about 40 seconds. Idiot.

I also did not realise that the more ammo that is left the more damage the reload nade does. Durr.

I have to make a real conscious effort not to reload until i need it now. Its so difficult. My brain just will not let me run around with a half empty mag LOL. BLOODY COD !

Got the Orange grenade mod of Boom or whatever one it is.
Level 50 requirement.
