I am buying it new I was merely mentioning the only downside to buying on PS3 (which isn't even an issue apparently)... aside from not being as pretty as PC (which few game are anymore).

Well other than no modding community (which is a pretty big con since mods rule) and no high end graphics if your an absolute graphics whore there is no downside to getting PS3 version.

And pretty much every multiplatform game ever that is on both consoles and PC will always look almost radically different on a high end PC and were not even talking about before the community decides to release a high res pack mod. Just compare PC Skyrim, Batman, Fallout, Left 4 Dead, Grand Theft Auto, Half Life etc. etc. etc. with their console counterparts and the difference is laughably massive if you have a really good computer. Then you also have all the stuff shown on screen that aren't even available to most good PC. Nvidia gaming vids does a good job showing what I mean, there's even one of Borderlands 2 (comparing a PC without and with Nvidia graphics).

Gears of War 2 for $40 and Call of Duty 3 for $30? Lolwut.

Easy guy, I know all of that that. In fact I play a couple games myself on more than one system. I'm just partial to the PS3, especially its exclusives.
