community Requests, Feedback, and Suggestions

I really like the idea of a caption system. I'll ask about and see how they do that in Loungin'. If it's easy enough then we'll be able to do it here too.

As for the header, I was thinking of seeing if someone could just take the "Borderlands 2" from this for the moment. At this early stage, there's not really much to go on to make a good header. But if somebody can come up with something amazing, go right ahead.

Either one works The whole logo would be cool but if you look at the bottom there's a bit cut off We could put some links along the bottom or something so it looks like it's meant to be like that though. :L

Shane, you could also ask whoever did the caption system for the Pokelounge forum too.

Banner looks good enough for now, with the prospect of better things to come. When we have more pictures maybe we could get a footer too.

Forum Rules threads are a bit redundant imo. Sitewide rules apply every forum. This forum doesn't have any specific ones that need listing. Plus I don't really like having a big list of rules stickied at the top of the forum that nobody's ever gonna read anyway.

General Discussion could be good, so long as it's off topic. I don't want all the discussion getting lumped into one thread and having the forum damaged because of it. Thread Index and Public ban lists are bad :L There's nothing wrong with duplicated threads. The threads that are important to the forum will be stickied or won't stray far from the first page anyway. We've got tools to look after bans and their listings, so there's no real need for a public ban list other than for it to be a spectacle.

I suggest just one additional rule for this forum(ideally any game in the works forum); I know there hasn't been anything of the sort yet but I regularly frequent Bungie.net's The Flood so I know how pretentious and idiotic people can get about it, but...

Just because news isn't new to you doesn't mean it's not new to someone. Any posts complaining about how a bit of news is old, especially if it isn't, should be nuked if they don't contribute anything else or at least have the oldness complaint edited out. The information you currently know isn't the standard of information that the whole universe follows; some people aren't glued to info outlets like you are. Just look to see if articles/interviews/trailers/whatever have been posted, and if they haven't, then consider them new and post them for us, please. Don't be an ass because a bit of info isn't new for you.
