to steal a base...
tap L1 to take a lead off, when the pitcher winds up tap L1 and press and hold triangle towards the base to steal (on the d pad up=2nd, left =3rd and down = home.u have to be fast as he will steal and u may have to run back,,press the base to run back to and r1,, This message was edited by HeadHunter_x on Nov 10 2001. | |

Press L1 to lead off then hold triangle and push the left control pad to the base you want to steal. Then your man on base will steal.
