	Log in to remove this advertisement At the San Diego Comic Con panel, it was announced that Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 characters will have six color choices. That's two more than MvC3's four. Plus, a set of DLC costumes for everyone is planned. As you may recall, they try to work in some kind of significance or reference into each palette swap. (just check out the MvC3 Alternate Costumes thread) Marvel has been particularly vocal on the reasoning for their picks: 'Marvel vs. Capcom 3': The Thought Behind the Marvel Alternate Color Schemes Includes: Iron Man, Wolverine, She-Hulk, Spider-Man, and Magneto Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Behind the Alternate Costumes Includes: Phoenix, Storm, Dormammu, M.O.D.O.K., and Captain America 'Marvel vs. Capcom 3': The Final 9 Marvel Alternates Includes: Deadpool, Doctor Doom, Hulk, Shuma-Gorath, Super-Skrull, Taskmaster, Thor, X-23, Sentinel So back to the Comic Con panel. Mike Nelson of 1UP shot some photos of the presentation. Phoenix New Costume #1: X-Factor Marvel Girl Notes: Red suit with large yellow "X" across torso New Costume #2: Age of Apocalypse Jean Grey Notes: Dark red suit with v-cut collar, blue boots, and face tattoo. Deadpool New Costume #1: Death Wish Notes: Wearing green instead of red, Death Wish is from an alternate universe, revealed to be an insane Victor Von Doom. Hawkeye New Costume #1: SNES War of the Gems evil costume Notes: Black and maroon suit, brown bow and quiver. New Costume #2: First appearance retro Notes: Black and purle with light-blue accent. Yellow bow quiver. Dr. Doom New Costume #1: Deadpool Doom? Notes: Red hood, tunic, and cape with black Deadpool marks on mask. New Costume #2: Fantastic Four Doom Notes: White cape and hood with blue tunic. Captain America New Costume #1: First appearance retro Notes: Punch Hitler in the face with a differently-shaped shield and lighter blue hue costume. Anyone want to venture a guess of what they will pick for other characters? Perhaps a white-suit FF Spider-man? Or maybe a "Bucky-Cap" Captain America? Anyone recognize the revealed choices? 	I've updated the list with new information. As it turns out, many of the Marvel heroes are getting costumes based on very recent comics events! Magneto, Captain America, and the Hulk all sport Age of X costumes. Age of X wrapped up a couple months ago, and started at the beginning of the year. It told the story of an alternate timeline in which mutants are pushed to the edge of extinction. In this timeline, the US government forms a team of super humans called the Avengers to hunt mutants: This is just one of the crazy events in this series. As for Spider-man, he recently developed a new bullet-proof armor to defeat Massacre, a new villain. It was seen in March in Amazing Spider-Man #656 Looks cool, but I can't help but think that Spider-Man now has three black costumes (classic symbiote, the recent stealth suit, and now the new armor). Here's hoping he gets his white FF uniform for some more variety and contrast...

	^ FF Spider-Man Well, I can answer my own question as a few livebloggers and round-ups can confirm Spidey was shown in his FF uniform (no pics though!). - - - - - - - - - Source: Marvel Video Games Panel Liveblog (near the bottom of the page) 1:22 UltimateKidNova: The "Keeping It Current" collection is updates to Magneto with his Age of X costume, Hulk in his Age of X gear, and Captain America is his. Deadpool and Doctor Doom get their outfits from the Identity Wars story. Spidey gets his new Marcos Martin Spider Armor plus his FF look. Doom also in his FF look. 1:23 UltimateKidNova: In the "Keeping It Classic" collection, Ghost Rider gets his 90's costume, Hawkeye gets his original look, Hulk has modified pants, She-Hulk gets her Fantastic Four costume, plus an alternate Dormammu and original Captain America. And a bit about new stages: 1:24 UltimateKidNova: New Marvel-themed stages: Shadowland and what looks to be Days of Future Past. 	Yes, this is the fourth post in a row. I know, it's weird, but there is more to talk about! Various company blogs are telling the stories behind costume decisions. Capcom-Unity has a post about Haggar's fashion: UMvC3 Costume Inspiration Blog Haggar 1. Default Haggar 2. Camouflage pants (Jesse Ventura in Predator) 3. "Black Tie event" Haggar 4. Distinguished older gentleman 5. Young Haggar (red pants) 6. Kraven the Hunter (leopard print pants) Capcom characters dressed in Marvel character themes sounds like a great idea. What next? A Green Goblin inspired Firebrand? A Black Widow C.Viper? A Sabretooth Akuma? 	Iron Fist alts will probably be: 1-green (default) 2-red 3- white 4-blue and green (Steel Serpent: original) 5- black (just because...) 6-Purple(steel serpent: recent)

	Totally agree. The tributes are the best of the alt. colors. Just check out all the great tributes nailed in Strider Hiryu's set below. 	that sucks, i was kind of hoping the all-white Thor (Thor Girl tribute) would still be in the game. Should have done away with the Ultimate Thor tribute; as much as I love Ultimate Marvel, that color scheme looks similar to his Heroes Reborn one.
