I like how he expected the Wii to be a failure as well, and just blamed the success on luck, now making the same accusations on yet more innovation.

Something tells me his friends always beat him at Smash Bros, and he's developed a vendetta against Nintendo.

hm..im not so crazy about the tablet controller myself, but then again i might be wrong, it seems to be quite a step through compared to anything else. but watch. I bet you, that sony will copy the wii u anyways, they did with ps move, and so did xbox. Wii originally had the motion thing, but sony copied. plus I wouldnt get upset about what patcher says anyways. he's probably goin to be wrong like before.

Oh you mean like Remote Play? That allowed PS3 owners to play games that allowed it on their PSP's. That was an idea that is similar to the Wii U tablet, yes Nintendo have added more functionality but had developers taken Remote Play and used it more that would have been the "play games while the TV is occupied" back in 2006. Just because an idea wasn't openly accepted by developers when Sony first put it out there doesn't mean it's original when Nintendo do it now. I am tired of the whole "herp derp Sony and Microsoft will just totally copy this idea", it's a pathetic argument.

When they saw how well motion controls were doing, Sony and MS implemented their own version of them. Sony released the Vita with a touch screen (two, in fact). Would they have done that if the DS and 3DS didn't do so well? I don't think so.

You can thank Nintendo for at least 80% of all console gaming interface progress. What has Sony done? They doubled up the analog stick, introduced pressure-sensitive buttons, and were the first to blend a game console with a movie player.

Eh.. You say copy like it is a bad thing. The industry is built on it, companies for centuries have seen ideas, tweaked something and re-launched it as something else. I just don't get why Nintendo fan boys keep harping on about the same thing when it doesn't matter. The industry needs competition and it needs companies re-tooling ideas, I don't care who invented what all I care about is how another company will change and make it better.

Take the TV for instance that has been in constant state of copy and re-tool since the 1900's and we have to thank companies for being so persistent. The same goes for consoles I don't care who invented what I really don't as in the end it's the one that makes it best that gets my attention.

Nintendo the inventor of the analog stick, Sony the one that perfected the way it should work in a design that is still used with a few tweaks to the layout to this very day. Nintendo the inventor of rumble, Sony the ones that perfected internal rumble design which is something still used today. Nintendo invented motion control, Sony and Microsoft tweaked it to differing results but arguably are both more accurate and thus better. That is what I'm interested in, I'm interested in what affects me not what started it.

Sony and Microsoft will have screens. Sony had already vowed last year to expand Remote Play to allow multi-screen gaming. Microsoft announced SmartGlass which allows multi-screen gaming using Android or iOS based tablets. I don't care who did it first I care about who does it best, and right now I think SmartGlass may take this one as the tablet does the external processing so graphics don't have to suffer like with Wii U and that to me is a big deal.

With that knowledge in mind, you can't state that the Wii's library sucks.Just because you hate it doesn't mean everybody does.

I'm not sure if I will be getting a Wii U at launch, but I do know that the prospect of playing Assassin's Creed 3 whilst pooping is highly attractive. 3:

My thoughts on the wii U is that they pretty much made the ds a console where the top screen is the tv and the bottoms screen is the tablet. The other thing that concerns me is the wii U can only support 2 tablets at once leaving the other 2 people with wiimotes.
