I never noticed that burlap cover thing on the inside of the mask (looking at the game's cover art right now). How the hell does Corvo breathe?

With his mouth and nose? I don't know about you but in the cold Winter months I often wrap my scarf round the lower portion of my face to keep it warm and have no problems breathing at all. It just gets a little hot.

I didn't realise there wasn't an artistic license within the creation of masks to conceal ones identity that was directly proportionate to the reality of a game or the IQ of a fictional character... I don't know how to break it to you, but Blink, The Outsider and Animal possession aren't strictly realistic either. *gasp* Corvo is a supernatural assassin who can take possess fish, bend time, and turn people into ash when killing them. I don't think his ability to breath with a mask on really comes into question.

the mask does NOT have that burlap thing in the game. he puts the mask on every time he gets in Samuels boat and takes it off every time he comes back from a mission. the inside looks like red padding but theres no burlap.

i havent had a chance to beat it yet but so far i dont think so. this one dude that you pay to make upgrades and stuff for you made it, dont remember him saying it was for any special reason. the game is just super steampunk though so thats part of it.

well it does look like a skull, and you are an assassin, so maybe thats it
