Bethesda has announced that first-person stealth action adventure title Dishonored has gone gold.

The game, developed by Arkane Studios, has now been sent to manufacturers for it to be pressed onto millions of disks and then distributed to retailers.

Dishonored has been in development for more than three years, with the game receiving a positive pre-launch reception thus far.

To celebrate the milestone, publisher Bethesda is giving away "an extremely limited Overseer mask" as seen above and a signed copy of the game.

Dishonored is due for a release in North America on October 9, while a European launch follows three days later.
