Interesting enough video. Talks about design decisions and the vastness and choices of the game.
To sum it up for those who don't want to watch...
Spoiler:yep
Harvey Smith of past Ion Storm (Deus Ex) and Origin Systems (System Shock) fame, and the founder of Arkane Studios (Dark Messiah), Raphael Colantonio, discuss that they went into the project wanting to bring the older values from classic games into Dishonored.
They discuss Corvo and his role as the protector of the Empress and how he gets falsely accused of her death and thrown in prison. The game opens up with Corvo making a prison escape (as we've come to expect from games that have Bethesda's name on them anymore) and as it continues, it's up to Corvo to set things right and get revenge on those who have wronged them. There's a clip shown of Corvo hugging a little girl, and later in the video, there appears to be dialogue trees (one of which takes place with the same little girl. The other with an old man named Griff).
The game caters to any kind of play style. You can go in guns blazing and kill everyone, you can sneak through a place and kill everyone silently, or you can sneak through the shadows without harming a single soul. It's up to you how much blood is shed.
