sorry i don't like it when cartoons get put in SFM it doesn't work well thanks to source engine's model limitations.

My vid would start out as a group of colts and fillies asking their grandpa, a retired Rainbow Factory worker, where rainbows came from. The old stallion would stare blankly ahead, like a retired Vietnam veteran, then the camera would zoom into his eye, with the line "where do rainbows come from" echoing horrifically through his mind. Then a scene of him walking up to the Rainbow Factory as a younger stallion would come up, and the song would begin.

The music video would make it painfully obvious he was doing this work because he was forced to do so. The video would include everything in the fanfic. Rainbow Dash would be looking down into the factory in shadow, like an evil overseer. All the factory workers, except the stallion, would be singing mercilessly along, with their blood stained uniforms.

I would make it resemble a concentration camp or something. To really disturb the viewers.

Then, after the song fades out, the scene would fade back into present day, with him still staring blankly ahead, and his grandkids having their hooves in front of him, asking if he was alright. He would then answer their question by responding: "I'm not sure. Ask...ask your grandmother..."

Grrr, I wish I could animate.

Just animate the fic. You've already got the storyline, all you need are voices, music and a little bit of adobe flash CS7 knowledge.

I would pay good money to see a one-hour long rainbow factory movie.

In addition, hiigaran, it's the ponies' faces that don't work on a 3d model. Cartoon faces are simple, whereas these models try to add too much detail in a poor way.
