Did we see inside the compartment? I don't remember. The book was inside it, so yeah. It was a bit cobwebbed as I recall. There wasn't anything else in the compartment in any case. There might be more secret compartments though. But seriously, rather convenient that Spike happened to find the secret compartment which just so happened to have the appropriate book in it >_> Deus ex Machina or something more? Something more, methinks. This season seems like it might have some kind of overarching plot with little hints peppered through the episodes. There's Twilight's studies, of course, and all of these little things might culminate in the season finale, and have some sort of important role. Hey, this is my 4000th post! -------------------
