	your plan isnt to SLI the cards, is it? because nvidia cannot SLI with mismatched cards. thats only ATI/AMD, and even then, the first two numbers of the card must match (even then, there are some exceptions). -------------------

	I wasn't planning on running SLi for the contest, and my mobo doesn't support it. As it stands I have the 570 working alongside a [painfully slow] GT430. The only "SLi" option I would have would be along the lines of HyperSLi, which I'm looking into later on. From what I gather it's more effective to run your GPUs independently for peak FAH performance.

	deeplove - I have one of those units too. I wonder if they're Beta units? I've only just started F@H again (was playing Amalur, doesn't play nice with SMP units), so my estimated PPD is all out of whack. Takes some time to level out. 	I am using a Phenom II 555BE dual core so I don't know if that's messing me up. I was going to upgrade to a i5 2500k or 3570k but I'm still holding my money. I wanted to see the new AMD lineup coming up. Plus I forgot about vacation coming up soon. So the money I'm about to spend on the upgrade might be used for vacation instead. My friend recently built his new AMD PC with the parts recommended on the Overclocking forum here. He loves it and I managed to play around with it myself. He didn't spend much and had me thinking about the 6 core AMD chip and/or the newer ones coming out. Decisions decisions. But I might just get that 550ti for the time being this Friday. It's cheap and readily available for me. Plus if the crap hits the fan with that GPU then I can always return it. Oh... The dang 975 is at $119 at Newegg. If I only had a good mobo to overclock it then I would've jumped on that deal right there. The 965 with heatsink is at the same price. ------------------- My PC

	just looked over the stats, and there are currently 19 out of 105 people who still dont show up on the stats. if you are one of those 19, let me know. the likely causes to this problem are: - the name you typed in to the program does not match the name seen on the list in the first post and the progress sheet - you havent added the team number - you havent completed a work unit yet. likely causes: --- you did not set F@H to start automatically --- F@H is encountering a hang, or an error. check your log files. if you are unsure, post your log file here. please keep in mind that if you make no progress for two weeks in a row, you will be disqualified, unless you notify me with a reason...any reason. i only have this in place so that i know to stop tracking someones stats if they have just left. -------------------

I'm still running my GTX 470s, but they've been only getting 7-9kPPD each lately, compared to 12-15kPPD in January. I just want to build my new computer, but I have to wait for Haswell. -------------------

I should be getting back up and running. Currently with a 6970, the maximum points per day it has been able to sustainably crunch is around the 6000 range... The 7970 does only a smidge more than that.
