The v7 client says that it is 937 base credit and 2M steps, same as the unit I just finished which took about 16hrs and was worth about 5000 points. This one is taking 1 hour for each 1% and 4 days total, and will only be worth around 2000 points. Has anybody else gotten a unit like this before? -------------------

One of the first ones I did(with the v7 client) was worth something like 5k points and it took forever to finish it. The point yield changes a lot, as far as I have seen, as the unit is being completed. In fact, the one I'm working on now has 600 base credit, 10M steps....but it's going at 3min/1%, which is twice as fast as the last one I had. I can't remember, though if the last one I did was 5M steps, or 50M.

I've seen smaller variations of 3-6 minutes per % like what you mentioned before, I was just concerned because this particular one is taking 8 times as long and will probably only give a fraction of the points. Edit:Probably should have worded that better, I've seen variations of 3-6 minutes between units of the the same size. Has anybody else gotten a unit like this before? the v7 client is known to have problems in the estimated points per work unit EDIT: Schwabanator - okay found your data. currently reading at about 31K but i took off 4500 for the initial points because those 4500 points were added after the competition started (meaning those 4500 will count towards your final score, not get deducted from it). also, im going to be lenient and not consider people late just for today, as ive had more people start asking me to enter the competition -------------------

	Gah, I had Prime 95 installed but I forgot it runs on startup (though I didn't set it to test anything at all). Closed loop, but I dunno if it'll quite be good enough for a 5 GHz OC. linky I run the H50, and it keeps my Intel 960 cool, though it's not overclocked.
