Europa League quarter final first leg, is up next for Inter and Rennes. Both sides are at full strength and the only absentees are Danny who is still out injured and Yann M'Vila who is not eligible to play against his parent club. Inter go into this game fresh from the thumping they handed out to league rivals, Genoa at the weekend and D4N will be confident his side can progress here. Rennes coach, Frédéric Antonetti knows he will need to be cautious at the San Siro as in the previous round Athletic Club Bilbao threw everything at Inter and only came away with a draw. The San Siro has been a very tough place to go to for visiting sides this season especially on European nights. Inter will be without midfielder, Yann M'Vila for the tie as the player is on loan from Rennes and as part of the agreement cannot feature against his parent club. Paving the way for Andrea Pirlo or Andrea Romano to step in. This is how we think both sides will line up tonight: FC Internazionale 4-2-2-2 Inter will be very attack minded against this French side. D4N will go with both Pirlo and Romano in midfield and that leaves Dzagoev who has been Inter's talisman this season and always produces in the big games, he will start no doubt. David Silva should start on the opposite side and we should see the Welliton, Neymar partnership again tonight. Milito will be on the bench who has an amazing understanding with Welliton should D4N need to call upon him. Stade Rennais FC 3-5-2 Rennes will pack out the midfield here and try to take a draw to the Route de Lorient. Antonetti will know any possible result in there favour will put his side in the driving seat, but Rennes are a good solid side and are particularly good at home so a draw going into the second leg would be the perfect situation for the French side.

At time's we have had some incredible moments; the victory at home to Liverpool, 5-3 away at Stoke, the victory against United, They're the moments this club needs to make it great again. I've been extremely impressed with certain individuals (Ba, Ben Arfa, Santon) but the whole squad as a whole has really pulled together to achieve our aim this season. Unfortunately due to lack of funds or injection from the owner, January was a very quiet month for the club and we weren't allowed to bring in any new players to help us kick on and secure a position higher up the table. I said prior to the season starting if i was able to bring in who i wanted then this club would achieve Europa League football, maybe we were lucky to achieve this goal but regardless we're there and that will help us significantly in the transfer market over the summer. Europe always has a bigger pull. I wasn't able to bring in everyone i wanted be that in the summer or January, the players we have brought in have all added to the team and performed magnificently. Yes, I would say Marko Marin and Kevin De Bruyne were two players we were looking at in January. The deals we were looking at were Loan deals but it just wasn't feasible at the time, they're Chelsea players at the end of the day and I don't think its right to discuss those individuals. Level on points with Sunderland is not how we wanted to finish the season but lets give credit to them to finish level with us, they have a terrific manager in Martin O'Neil so they were always going to have a strong season. Although i feel we have let ourselves down, we were more than capable of finishing above Spurs and in turn pushing Arsenal close for 5th. The board are expecting more off me next season so we will have to be very shrewd in terms of transfers and personal. I'm up for the challenge and excited for where i can take this club. If you look at the table you can see only 3 teams have scored more goals then us, which shows we aren't shy up top. However we have conceded a ridiculous amount of goals which has punished us and led to our end position. Defence is something i will defiantly be looking at over the summer. Demba Ba was just pure class this season, it wasn't until recently it was pointed out to me he only played 28 league games and scored 26 league goals. That's incredible and i'm sure there will be interest for him over the summer but we will try to keep a hold of him. I received an offer from Queens Park Rangers, however with the financial backing they have the offer they put in front of me didn't excite what so ever, and with respect to QPR, Newcastle are so much more a bigger club with bigger ambitions.

Will be a challenge as Bayern have an amazing team in FIFA and there are quite a few good teams in the Bundesliga.
