I recommend you make a move for Mayuka off BSC Young boys as he fired in goals left right and centre for my Swansea team. Someone else who would be a good buy is Hernandez, fast and a good poacher, I agree with all of Sigge's recommendations aswell ![]() ------------------- ![]() Credit to D3structor FM Forum PL Challenge

![]() Lennon Ready for New Season! ![]() Celtic manager Neil Lennon has stated his excitement for the coming season, and is hopeful the club can recreate last season's success. The Hoops won the Scottish Premier League for the first time in 5 years, after playing second fiddle to Rangers for so many years. They were less successful in the Scottish Cup and League Cup were they were knocked out, and finished as runners up in the latter. He also spoke of this seasons objectives. He revealed the Celtic board has given him targets of winning both the League and a domestic Cup. Lennon believes that both targets are possible, given the financial state of old firm rivals Rangers, who stay in the SPL, following their successful takeover. He also mentioned that he will be dipping into his transfer funds this summer to strengthen his squad. He did not give any hint as to what positions he will be trying to strengthen but should be trying to boost his attacking options this summer. _____________________________________ Celtic Eye Additions! ![]() Celtic have begun preparations for the new season by having three bids for players rejected. The first player Celtic made a move for was Lyon's John Mensah. The Ghanaian is believed to be trying to force a way out of Lyon, and Celtic and Championship side Blackburn are wanting the defender. Celtic are believed to of had an offer of £2.6m rejected by Lyon who are holding out for £3m. An offer for Werder Bremen forward Markus Rosenberg was rejected by the Bundesliga club. Rosenberg was a stand-out at Euro 2008 but since then has fizzled out. Rosenberg also stated earlier this year that he wanted to leave the club in order to get first team football. Celtic got a bid of £2m rejected, but Bremen want at least £3.9m, but Celtic will not pay that much for someone who will be out of contract next season. Dundee United full back Paul Dixon could be on his way to Celtic after an offer of £1.3m for the player was accepted. Dixon is on a shortlist of full backs, also believed to include Markus Rosenberg's teammate Sebastian Boenisch, who Celtic will look at this summer. Last but not least, Celtic's rumored top target this year, Aston Villa midfielder, Ciaran Clark. Celtic had a bid of £7m rejected for the player, as he is believed to have a buyout clause of £10m. Villa are willing to accept an offer in the margin of £8m - £9m for their promising youngster. Celtic are rumored to be willing to pay that much for the midfielder, who can also play as a centre back, but face stiff competition from Tottenham and Manchester United.

![]() Pre-Season - October Update ![]() To start off his campaign with Sevilla Ortiz44 chose to work with a 4-5-1 type formation that allowed for a flat four in the defense, two holding/defensive midfielders, two wingers to attack the flanks and swing balls into the box, an attacking midfielder to support the striker and help with the build up, and the striker whose main purpose is to score goals. Along with the starters, there is a bench that consists of Luna (LB), Spahic (CB), Xhaka (CM), Oscar (CAM), Trochowski (CAM), Dembele (CF), Diawara (ST). Preseason Sevilla vs Stoke W 3-1 Negredo, Navas, Rakitic Crouch Norwich vs Sevilla D 1-1 Rakitic Holt Sevilla vs Juventus D 2-2 Negredo, Fazio Pirlo, Marchisio Beginning of the Season Real Betis vs Sevilla W 2-0 Rakitic 25'off of a beautiful cross from Jesus Navas, Rakitic hit the ball out of the air, scoring the volley into the top right corner! The volley was a beautiful way to start the campaign off. Fazio 34' off of a corner that was crossed in from Jesus Navas. Fazio rose above the defender to head the ball with venom past the keeper into the right side netting. The win was Ortiz44's first in his managerial career, and was a positive sign for good things to come. Jesus Navas was named man of the match for his 2 assists and constant attack down the right wing. ![]() Navas celebrating after Rakitic smashed home his cross! Sevilla vs Malaga W 3-0 Ogbonna 15' off a corner crossed in from Jesus Navas, where Ogbonna fought off a defender and was able to get to the ball in the air first. Which allowed him to place the header into the bottom left corner for the opening goal of the match. Negredo 18' Jesus Navas sprinted down the right wing and crossed the ball right at the penalty marker where Negredo leaped in the air and biked the ball past the keeper! An absolute stunner of a goal, that bounced past the left side of the keeper. Negredo 53' Negredo was lining up to take a shot just inside the box when a defender came and tackled him completely missing the ball resulting in a penalty. Negredo lined up for the PK and blasted in past the keeper into the top left corner leaving the keeper no chance to save it. Ortiz44 kept the streak going, winning his second match in as many games. The man of the match was given to both Jesus Navas and Negredo for their stunning performances. Negredo slotted home two goals and Navas assisted twice to give Sevilla the 3-0 win. ![]() Negredo celebrating his stunning bicycle kick to give them the two-nothing lead! Villarreal vs Sevilla W 3-1 Rossi 9' Rossi was able to dribble through the defense with ease, and slid the ball past Javi to give Villarreal the 1-0 lead in just the 9th minute, and also the first goal that Sevilla has given up. Navas 54' Jesus was finally able to get onto the score card in a game rather than setting up a goal. Jesus intercepted a ball that was passed up the wing from the outside back towards their winger and he never looked back sprinting towards the goal and finessed the ball with his left foot on the ground past their keeper to tie the game up! Negredo 80' Navas was again sprinting down the wing, and whipped the ball towards the near post when Negredo jumped above the defender and met the ball with his head and was able to place the ball pass the keeper to give them the 2-1 lead in the dying minutes of the game Dembele 87' Moussa became the first newly transferred player to score a goal that wrapped it up for Sevilla with a smashing strike from outside the box. Giving them the 3-1 win! Ortiz44's side was still undefeated and was looking stronger than ever in their victory over Villarreal. Man of the match was once again Jesus Navas who scored the tying goal but also assisted in the winning goal. Jesus Navas' form has been very impressive lately! ![]() Navas celebrating his game tying goal! Sevilla vs Real Sociedad W 4-0 Negredo 45' Negredo finally got the scoring started with a penalty that he smashed into the top right corner of the goal. The keeper didn't even bother moving. The goal came right before halftime which was a blessing because it gave Ortiz44's side the momentum going into the second half. Fazio 64' Navas once again was taking the corner and curled one in perfectly onto Fazio's head and he placed in passed the goalie with ease giving Sevilla the 2-0 lead. Negredo 68' Rakitic was on the left side of the box with the goalie coming out towards him and a defender on his right side, so with no where to go he chipped the ball over towards the middle of the box where Negredo was sprinting in and was able to easily place his diving header into the open net. The former Sevilla player, Guarente, received a red card in the 81' when he came in with a harsh tackle on Oscar from behind. This foul resulted in his second yellow of the match and was not a good return for the Italian midfielder. Negredo 89' He finished off his HAT TRICK with an easy one-on-one with the keeper after a beautiful ball played over the top from Trochowski. Negredo placed the ball on the ground passed the diving keeper to finish the game 4-0. Man of the Match went to the goal scorer Negredo! He has kept up his scoring ways and hasn't looked back. With his performance today he is becoming a top threat to all defenses in La Liga. ![]() Negredo addressing the press after the win over Real Sociedad. CA Osasuna vs Sevilla W 4-0 Negredo 40' Song played a through ball that split the center back and the right back and sent Negredo onto goal with just the goalie in front of him and Negredo isn't going to miss that in the form that he is in! Negredo 29' Negredo once again is on the score sheet with another PK that was blasted into the top corner. Perotti 45' Perotti finally ended his poor form and got onto the scoring sheet with a goal right at the end of the first half. Rakitic split the left back and the center back to put Perotti on goal and he finessed it into the side netting for the 3-0 lead. Negredo 55' Negredo put up his second HAT TRICK in a row to end the scoring. Negredo was sitting at the top of the box when one of Perotti's crosses was headed out by the defender and Negredo brought it down with his foot and his second touch was a power shot into the bottom right corner of the net. Man of the match goes to Negredo again for his hat trick and offensive power. The striker continued his form and doesn't look to stop anytime soon. ![]() Perotti celebrates his first goal of the season! Sevilla vs Valencia W 4-0 Negredo 40' He is still scoring! Navas did his usual of outpacing the outside back and whipped the ball into the box to find Negredo's head and the game was now 1-0 to Sevilla! Fazio 45' Navas curled in another corner and Fazio was at the end of it to give Ortiz44's squad the 2-0 lead right before half. Negredo 67' Perotti was the set up man on this goal, where he placed a long ball over the top of the defense onto the feet of the running Negredo and the second touch was a powerful shot into the top left corner of the goal. Negredo 72' Perotti hit a cross in and the defense cleared it out wide where Negredo was able to run it down and cutting across the box from the right side, he set up his left foot and finessed the ball around the keeper and into the bottom left corner for the final goal of the game and his third straight hat trick. Man of the Match was an obvious choice of Negredo. With his third straight hat trick he is the most dangerous forward in La Liga right now. ![]() Negredo celebrating after his hat trick was completed in the 72 minute Ortiz44's side remains undefeated going into October. "I have been very impressed and pleased with the level of play that my team has been producing. Everyone is coming together well and it seems to be going better than expected at the beginning of the season." Top Players Jesus Navas 1 Goal 8 Assist Negredo 12 Goals BREAKING NEWS: Diawara unhappy with playing time! Diawara, the 23 year old from Senegal has been rumored to be very unhappy with the amount of time he has been receiving. Right now the Striker has been only appeared once in La Liga due to the recent form of Negredo and he feels that he deserves a lot more time than he has been getting. It is also rumored that he wants a move away from the club to find a team that will give him more first team experience. While these rumours have yet to be confirmed, it is very likely to be true and if this is to happen it could leave Ortiz44 weak at the forward position and just have Negredo and means that Ortiz44 will have to find another player to come off the bench in the January transfer window. Some names that have been coming up are Mayuka from the BSC Young Boys, Rodrigo from Benfica or Leandro Damiao the Internacional forward and former teammate of Oscar. Oscar may have something to do with a move for Damiao and help in the recruiting of the Brazilian. ![]() Could Diawara be headed out of Sevilla? ![]() Could Leandro Damiao be headed into Ortiz44's squad soon? ![]() 2013/2014 Season Preview ![]() It's been a busy summer for the Inter hierarchy and the opening day is edging closer. D4N has made significant changes, some he's probably been putting together for a few months and others that wer spur of the moment due to other reasons. One things for sure D4N and Inter aren't going away and with the money Moratti's invested this time i expect Inter to be right up there come May. Europa League D4N's Inter finished 4th in Serie A last season placing them in the Europa League. Unlike last season though they don't need to qualify and go straight into the group phase. Here is Inter's group for the Europa League,
Coppa Nazionale Last time round D4N's men went as far as the Quater-finals in this competition only to be stopped by Fiorentina. The viola have proven to be some what of a bogey team for D4N since his appointment almost 3 years ago now. That is something he will be looking to address in the new season. The draw has yet to be made for the Coppa Nazionale this coming season, but we expect Inter to be in it to the later stages. ![]() The Viloa have been a thorn in the side of Inter, since D4N's appointment. Serie A With Inter finishing 5th and 4th in the last two seasons, D4N's men will be expected to push for a first place finish this time round. President, Massimo Morratti has backed D4N to the hilt and has invested heavily in the squad in the summer, so it's time for Inter to deliver. Players have come in and players have gone and the squad is looking as strong as ever so it's up to D4N and the squad to give the President and the fans what they want. With the players they have bought in they have strengthened all over the pitch so we fully expect Inter to be up and around the 1st spot in May next year. ![]() 2013/2014 SQUAD GK: 1. Lewandowski - 78 ______________________________________________________________________________________ RESULTS UPDATE Serie A Inter 2-2 Chievo....'Pasquato, 'Welliton The opening day proved to be a classic from a neutral point of view. For both managers though, nail biting stuff. D4N gave new boys, van Persie, Douglas, Cabaye and Adryan there competitive debuts, the game started with Inter pressing high up the pitch and Adryan looks a very good young player, Inter may have unearthed a real gem here. David Di Michele though picked up the ball for the away side and played a ball over the top for Moscardelli who looked to be offside but the flag stayed down and Moscardelli placed it into the bottom corner completely against the run of play. It would be 1-0 to the visitors at the break. D4N replaced van Persie who had been quiet in the first half with Christian Pasquato who was also making his competitive debut. The Italian made an impact straight away linking up with fellow new arrival, Adryan. The young Brazilian played it back to the number 77 in the box he turned and placed it into the far corner, fantastic goal and a dream debut for the striker. 1-1 now and Inter wer on the front foot. 65 minutes had past when D4N replaced Adryan with Dzagoev. The 18 year old left the field of play to a standing ovation from the home crowd and the man coming on got an equal round of applause. Dzagoev got involved straight away, playing the ball in behind for Silva who was one on one with the keeper but un selfishly squared it to last season's golden boot recipient, Welltion to tap into the empty net. Back to busienss for D4N and Inter. The game peterd out a little after that with Inter keeping the ball until the 86th minute Maicon got caught in posession and fouled, Moscardelli just inside the box. Penalty! Di Michele spotted the ball and smashed it past Cesar to salvage a point for his side. Harsh on Inter who wer by far the better side. MAN OF THE MATCH: Adryan Maicon knows he's cost his side today. Napoli 4-1 Inter....'van Persie D4N will not be happy with his sides pefromance today. Inter wer opened up by Napoli time and again and the player who punished them, could well have been in an Inter shirt today, Edinson Cavani was on his way but the deal broke down on personal terms and he was still in a Napoli shirt to put all 4 past D4N's side today. The less said about this the better. Inter wer touted as title challengers before a ball was kicked but with 1 defeat and 1 draw in Serie A so far this season they look a bit off the pace. It's early doors and the only positive to come from this game for Inter was, Robin van Persie netting his first for his new club. MAN OF THE MATCH: Cavani ![]() Cavani destroyed Inter today. ______________________________________________________________________________________ Yohan Cabaye....The First Interview ![]() Full name - Yohan Cabaye Date of birth - 14 January 1986 (age 26) Place of birth - Tourcoing, France Height - 1.74 m (5 ft 8 1⁄2 in) Playing position - Midfielder During the transfer window, Yohan Cabaye became D4N's 3rd signing. Joining from Newcastle United on a 4 year deal for £22,000,000. We managed to grab a word with him after training Thursday afternoon. Thanks for joining us Yohan. Since your move how have you settled into life here in Milan? "It's a wonderful city and the people have been very friendly and most welcoming. Im still searching for a house so i haven't setteld as such but in terms of coming into training and getting along with my team mates im settleing in great." How are you finding working under D4N? "He's a very good coach and traning always tests us. But at the same time it's fun so he has the perfect balance because you need to be able to enjoy it. It raises morale within the team." You played against us in a pre-season friendly and won!, did you know at that time you wer to join Inter? (laughs) "No i did not know what would happen. All i new was that Inter had put in an offer for me and that i had gave the owner a transfer request. It all happend so fast. We played at St James's Park the one day, the next i was in Milan having a medical." So what do you make of the other players D4N has signed this summer, and who is the stand out one? "The manager has managed to bring in some world class players. Everyone has been excellent during training. If i had to pick one from the bunch it would be young, Adryan Tavares. He will grow into some player, wev'e seen first hand on the opening day what he can do. So yeah Adryan has stood out the most for me." What do you make of the opening two games? "I think we wer unlucky against Chievo as we wer the better side. It was unfortunate we gave away a penalty and Maicon could not appologise enough after the game, but that's football. As for the Napoli game we didn't really turn up, it was a poor performance and we didn't deserve anything from it but we will look to improve and take that pressure off the manager's shoulders." Who has helped you settle to life the most at Inter? "Definatley Ben Arfa and Santon. I played with them both at Newcastle and when you go to a new place it's always nice to see familiar faces. Ruffier i know from the national team as well so he's also helped me." Thanks for your time Yohan and good luck for the rest of the season. ______________________________________________________________________________________ RESULTS UPDATE Serie A Inter 3-0 Parma....'Pasquato, 'Welliton, 'Adryan Inter picked up their first 3 points of the season, today against Parma and the defeat last week to Napoli can only be a distant memory. D4N adopted a new formation today, 4-2-3-1 was how they shaped and the team was, Ruffier in goal, the back four was: Maicon, Lucio, Subotic, Balzaretti with Pirlo and Cabaye in midfield behind Dzagoev, Pasquato and Silva as a front three just off Welliton. This new formation had a similar balance to the usual 4-1-2-1-2 but slightly more attack minded. The front 4 rotated when nessesary and D4N's tactics wer spot on. Inter took the lead on the 20th minute when Pasquato found himself in acres of space on the Flank after Silva switched the play. He played the ball to Welliton who past it first time to Dzagoev then he played it through the eye of a needle to Pasquato who past it past the keeper 1-0 Inter. Brilliant football. The two midfielders, Cabaye and Pirlo wer starting to find more and more space. Pilro picked the ball up and lofted it over the last man to the advancing Welliton. He went round the keeper and past it into the empty net for his second of the season. 2-0 at the break. Only the one change at half time Yohan Cabaye made way for Prince-Boateng to make his debut. Inter wer in control and D4N made another change on the hour mark, Silva coming off for 18 year old, Adryan Tavares. For most of the second half it was attack vs defence and another goal was inevitable. 78 minutes had past when Inter hit Parma on the break, Pasquato with a 25 yard pass to Dzagoev who was running down the left Adryan was busting a gut to get in the box and the Russians cross was perfect. All Adryan had to do was make contact and he did just that to grab his first goal for his new club. Great moment for the teenager. 3-0 was the final score. ![]() Douglas.....The First Interview ![]() Full name - Douglas Franco Teixeira Date of birth - 12 January 1988 (age 25) Place of birth - Florianópolis, Brazil Height - 1.92 m (6 ft 4 in) Playing position - Defender Since Mats Hummels was sold to Chelsea, D4N has bought in Douglas from Twente and Davide Astori from Roma as replacements. Douglas was signed prior to Hummels' departure as a replacement for Walter Samuel. The big defender joined on a season long loan deal with the view to a permanent transfer, and this morning we got a quick word with our new centre back. Welcome to Milan, Douglas how does it feel to be here? "Thank you, i'm very happy to be here. Inter is a massive club and i'm very happy to play alongside some of the best in the world." You have signed for the season on the basis of loan from your parent club, FC Twente. How are you getting on here, and would you consider a permanent transfer? "I am really enjoying my time here,We are three weeks into the season and i have already had an insight into where the manager and owner are trying to take this club. The deal was originally meant to be a permanent one but for what ever reason i'm on loan here for the first 12 months, after that who knows? I hope to be here this time next year." As you just pointed out we are 3 weeks into the new season, what have you made of it? "It's been a bit of mixture in terms of results. I think a lot of people would agree that we wer unlucky not to take the 3 points on the opening day but it wasn't our day. Napoli was one we'd all rather forget. I think the game against Parma really showed how much quality we have within the side and the gaffer had his tactics spot on." Which of the players has stood out most to you since joining? "I think of the new players it has to be Adryan. Purely because of how good he is for his age. Hatem Ben Arfa has really surprised me, ill be honest i didn't expect his to be as good as he is." Finally, you are one of 5 centre backs we have now. What are you going to do to ensure you are front of the Que? "I am here to play and ill earn my place. I have tremendous self belief but whoever the manager picks to play is more than up to the job. We have a very good squad here with lots of strength in depth and no one is guaranteed a place." ______________________________________________________________________________________ RESULTS UPDATE Europa League - Group Stage Inter 3-0 VSC....'Romano, 'Adryan, 'Lewandowski Inter kicked off their European campaign by welcoming, Portuguease outfit, Vitória de Guimarães to the San Siro. D4N selected a 4-1-2-1-2 formation with Andrea Romano starting in the holding role with Adryan behind Lewandowski and van Persie. The game took a while to get going but from the off you could see the gulf in class. 20 minutes had past and still no goals, until van Persie found himself in a cul-de-sac in the box. The Dutchman some how shifted the ball and chipped it through the tightest of gaps into the path of Romano who hit it on the half volley into the bottom corner. 1-0 Inter and the Italian gets his first senior goal. Inter wer cruising and a second should have been converted but Arshavin's effort went narrowly wide. 1-0 at the break. The second half kicked off and in less that 2 minutes it was 2-0. Adryan with 6 step overs on the edge of the box then found half a yard and curled it into the bottom corner. Magnificent individual goal. It was all Inter and their Portuguease counterparts simply could not deal with them . Before we new it they added a 3rd. Robert Lewandowski was freed in behind by Arshavin. The Polish striker did a give and go with van Persie and smashed it past the keeper. 3-0 was the final score and Inter top the group after the opening fixtures. MAN OF THE MATCH: Romano ![]() VSC skipper, Pedro Mendes could do nothing to prevent Inter's brilliance. Serie A Fiorentina 2-1 Inter....'Welliton Inter's bad run against the Viloa would continue today as the slipped to a 2-1 defeat at the Stadio Artemio Franchi. The defeat means, Inter have taken just 4 points out of a possible 12, having played 4, won 1, drew 1 and lost 2. D4N will want his side to put this behind them and kick on with the rest of the season. Steven Jovetic grabbed both goals for the Viola whilst Welliton took his 3rd of the season. But it was a consolation at best as the home side did well to keep the ball away from Inter for the whole 90 minutes. 2-1 it finished and Inter sit at 9th in the table. MAN OF THE MATCH: Jovetic ![]() Stevan Jovetic hit a brace as Fiorentina defeat, Inter once again. ______________________________________________________________________________________ Another Youngster Signs Pro at Inter... ![]() Inter Milan coach D4N, has made no secret of his desire to produce players from his academy and today he has signed his 4th to a professional contract. Following, Romano, van Duin and Mathjisen is 16 year old Dutch striker, Erik van de Laak. The young striker has signed a 5 year deal worth £1,500 a week and has immediately started training with the reserves. "It's a big day for the young lad, he has terrific potential and an eye for goal no doubt. He has signed for 5 years and has already started training with the reserves. I think we are exploring the option of getting him out on loan when the window opens up again in January but until then i know he is good enough if we need him." - Inter boss, D4N van de Laak has been given the number 49 squad number and the 16 year old had this to say, "This is the best day of my life so far. I'm a step closer to achieving my dream and would like to thank my coaches through out the youth academy who have helped me since i was 9 years old and my Dad for being with me every step of the way. All i can do is thank the manager for believing in me and go out there and prove that i'm good enough to play for this club." ![]() Edit: Aug 07, 12 7:38am

![]() Pardew steps down ![]() Newcastle United are sad to report that Alan Padrew has resigned from his position as manager at the football club because of personal issues. Padrew had a successful campaign last season leading Newcastle to 5th position and he also won the League Managers Association Manager of the Year award. Doing this made him the first and only English manager to win the two awards in a single Premier League season. Pardew had been in charge of 66 games, winning 28, drawing 17 and losing 21. Many fans are upset as the departure of Pardew after he has brought them Europa League football but Mike Ashley says the candidates are "just as good". I am very sad to see Alan leave the club after the success he brought last season but i respect his decision to focus on his family rather than football. He did an amazing job last season and it will be a season many Newcastle fans will remember. He brought in gems such as Cisse, Ba and Cabaye and these players will definitely live on from his tenure in charge. I believe the man who i am currently in talks with is just as good as Alan and i hope he continues the good work and progress this club is making. - Mike Ashley (Newcastle United chairman)
