![]() Borussia Dortmund prepare for new season ![]() Today manager Jürgen Klopp and his team will begin pre-season training ahead of the new season. Klopp and his players managed to win the Bundesliga pipping Bayern Munich to the title and becoming a well known team around the world. Dortmund have got a huge fan base and are one of the most supported clubs in German football and they play in 80,000 seat stadium named Westfalenstadion. Dortmund also have a great team spirit and have amazing players such as Mario Gotze, Matt Hummels and Shinji Kagawa, however, there are rumours that Dortmund may have to part with some players due to clubs such as Inter Milan, Manchester United and Chelsea sniffing around their talent. I am looking forward to this new season and our first game against Hamburger. We have now won the league and have a great team and spirit. People behind the scenes at this club do a massive job in helping us succeed and i would like to thank them. I believe we will be able to qualify for the Champions League this season and maybe push on for another title win. Unfortunately it is likely that Shinji Kagawa will be leaving us and moving to Italy (** because of his move to Manchester United) and a lot of other players will also be leaving to enable us to bring in more young quality players and to focus on our growing scouting network. - Jürgen Klopp (Borussia Dortmund manager) ........................................................................................................................................... ![]() Kagawa leaves Borussia Dortmund ![]() Inter Milan have agreed a deal reported to be worth an intial £21m to sign Japan midfielder Shinji Kagawa from German side Borussia Dortmund. The 23-year-old needs to pass a medical and obtain a work permit. Kagawa scored 13 goals in 31 Bundesliga games as Dortmund won a league and cup double in the 2011-12 season. The Japan midfielder has signed a four-year deal after passing a medical at the San Siro on Friday. Other players to leave Borussia Dortmund are; Barrios - £12,500,000 Kehl - £2,500,000 Rangelov - £1,100,000 Sobeich - £1,100,000 Hubner - £625,000 Grobkreutz - £5,500,000 Owomoyela - £925,000 da Silva - £850,000 Facher - £450,000 Borussia Dortmund have also completed the signings of; Martin - £15,500,000 Hernandez - £17,500,000 M'Bia - £18,000,000 Schennikov - £6,800,000 Leali - £9,500,000 I am delighted with our transfers for this season. I am not happy to have lost Shinji Kagawa but i wish him all the best at Inter Milan and Lucas Barrios had an argument so i put him up for sale and he moved to England. As for the transfers in to our club i feel they all have lots of potential and they all, apart from Leali, will feature in my first team this season. We still do have a good budget left but i am going to invest that into our scouting network so we can bring in some of our own players and hopefully they can make our first team in years to come. - Jürgen Klopp (Borussia Dortmund manager) Sigge Astbury D3structor Edit: Jun 23, 12 11:58am

If you want to make it realistic with the sale of Kagawa then you should sign Marco Reus as he is joining them in the summer.

We only lost three games which i think is an amazing achievement. I am so very proud of the team and especially Robert (Lewandowski) as he is our top scorer and his goals have been vital. I was surprised with our win against Bayern Munich and i honestly believe we can win the tile for a second season in a row and i am looking forward to the second half of the season and see where we go from that. - Jürgen Klopp (Borussia Dortmund manager) Sorry about the lack of information, i got carried away and played too much so it would take ages to update. I will do monthly updates starting from season 2 with more detail ![]()

Internazionale vs. Hearts Match review 1st leg Inter Milan 2-0 Hearts - San Siro (2-0 Agg) 2nd leg Hearts 3-4 Inter Milan - Tynecastle (3-6 Inter advance on Agg) 1st leg The match started just as we expected, Inter with wave after wave of attack and it only took 7 minutes for Hearts to give in, Dzgoev with a perfectly timed through ball into that path of Welliton who calmly rounded the goal keeper to tap into the empty net. Hearts though where resilient they stuck to there game plan of sitting deep and waiting to counter and on one occasion, deep into the first half Craig Beattie beat the offside trap only to fluff his lines when one on one with Julio Cesar. The former West Brom forward new that was his chance. The second half was much of the same Inter with most of the possession probing away trying to find a way through the wall put in front of them by Hearts. It was just after the hour mark when the ball was lofted beautifully from Yan M'vila on to the chest of David Silva, exquisite 35 yard pass, Silva took control and completely skinned the Hearts full back then curled it into the top corner, peach of a goal. The Italians where now in complete control of the game but Hearts hung on till the end to keep it at 2-0. 2nd leg Tynecastle was rocking before the kick off and it seemed to galvanise there team, it was a cagey first 10 minutes with both teams not really keeping the ball well enough. Hearts manager, Locke had gone all out attack this time round in a bid to stay in the competition and Hearts were full of confidence once they started to keep the ball. John Sutton was upfront along with Beattie tonight, and it proved a wise change from Locke, on the 25 minute with game still goalless, Beattie turned Subotic with a first touch either of the Inter forwards would have been proud of, he then passed the ball through the eye of a needle into the path of Sutton who rounded Cesar and put the Scots in front and back in the tie. Hearts where brimming with confidence but got caught napping when Danny dispossessed Taouil and fired a shot at the keeper who parred it out only for Neymar to come and tap in to an empty net. Inter had the away goal and it seemed as if it was all over for Hearts (3-1 on agg). Now they had scored Inter seemed to control the game more until Lucas tried to play a pass back to his keeper, only he hit it short and Sutton was aware and nipped into to poke home for his second. 2-1 on the night but Hearts still needed 3 more. At the break it was 2-1. Hearts came out fighting in the second half, winger David Templeton ran down the wing against Davide Santon and won his side a corner. Templeton swung in the cross and it was Sutton again to head home for his hattrick, dream night for the forward but could Hearts get another? (3-2 agg). Inter were in no mans land defending that corner no one picked Sutton up, and D4N was livid on the side line. It was the 67 minute when disaster struck for Inter, Neymar had gone down injured after a collision with Ryan Mcgowen, the Brazilian was unable to continue so D4N called on Argentine Diego Millito to replace him, not a bad replacement at all as soon as he came on he was involved he had a shot tipped round the post and won Inter a corner, Hatem Ben Arfa took it and put it right on Millito's head, 3-2 Inter out of sight on aggregate. They went on to score another two Danny with a sweet free kick and Welliton with another tap in to make it 4-3 on the night and 6-3 on aggregate. Inter through to the group stages but you have to feel sorry for Hearts they didn't deserve to loose tonight. BREAKING NEWS Internazionale have completed the signings of Polish centre forward, Robert Lewendowski from Borissia Dourtmound, believed to be around £15,000,000 and Newcastle Striker Papis Demba Cisse who cost an estimated £12,000,000. Lewandowski has been given the number 14 vacated by Xabi Alonso and Cisse the number 19. D4N spoke about his new Strikers after they were both unveiled earlier today, " We are delighted to have finally signed Robert and Papis, we had scouts watching both of them over the course of the summer and we were only going to go for 1 of them, but unfortunately the injury suffered by Neymar who is ruled out until Christmas at least made it easier for us to sign them both. When i have all my strikers fit ill have a huge head ache picking the ones that play." D4N laughed. " On a serious note we have 5 world class top international strikers now and we are juggling a few competitions this season, that can only be healthy for the squad." Internazionale vs Sampdoria San Siro Match Preview Its been a fantatsic start to the season for Inter Milan, having played 4 and won 4 in all competitions they go into this game full of confidence and more importantly top of the Serie A ladder. The new crop of players bought in by D4N have made an instant impact, be it from the bench or as a starter, the 2 that have stood out the most though are former BVB defender Mats Hummels and Russian international Alan Dzgoev. Hummels came in and won his space straight away along side skipper Lucio hes featured at the back in every single game so far this season. Many thought he was brought in to replace the aging Walter Samuel if he wasnt originally he certainly has now. Alan Dzgoev came in prodominatly to play in the hole behind the strikers in D4N's youthfull looking forward line, he has been a revelation since joining from CSKA Moscow in the summer. At the age of just 23 he has already been touted as a future captain of Internazionale and only 4 games into the season he has 2 goals (one an absolute worldie on the opening day) and 3 assists. Dzgoev is a typical "zidane" like midfielder who likes to operate in behind and pull all the strings, Inter really seem to have unearthed a real gem there. Pre match press conference Sampdoria head coach, Giuseppe Iachini does admit his side have been un lucky but also admits his players do need to be more positive going forward, "We have seen some things maybe not go our way so far, but hey its only 3 games in theres a lot of games left to play. No points from a possible 9 is a little disappointing. Our strikers definatly need to be further up the pitch. In the past 3 games our strikers have been playing to deep this is too negative. It is up to Padalino and Renan to do the dirty work, Pozzi and Antonio need to be further up the pitch" Iachini seemed quietly confident going into the game against the league leaders, "Internazionale are a very good team we know that, they are one of the favorites for the title and are unbeaten so far, but their fortunes could change just as ours can, it is still very early. D4N has signed some very good players and they have quality all over the pitch and throughout the squad, but we are here to compete and we know what we can do." D4N responded by saying, "We have a job to do and we are here to do it, im not guarenting victory because this is football anything can happen. We have already came up against sides this season who like to hit you on the counter or throw everythin at you, Hearts for example In the Europa League qualifier they parked the bus at the San Siro and we came away with a victory but when we went to tynecastle for the return leg it was like a different team. So i try never to expect anything from the opposition, yes we can study them and so on but nothings ever concrete. Our players are ready and we want to win this league this season we know what we are capable of." Likley Line ups : Internazionale 4-1-2-1-2 GK: Julio Cesar RB: Maicon CB: Lucio (c) CB: Hummels LB: Filipe CDM: M'Villa RM: Silva LM: Gatian CAM: Dzgoev ST: Lewandowski ST: Welliton Sampdoria 4-4-2 GK: Da Costa RB: Costa CB: Volta CB: Mustafi LB: Berardi RM: Munari CM: Padalino CM: Renan LM: Soriano ST: Pozzi ST: Antonio D4N rearly changes his formation, last season he played 2 banks of 4 and they slipped down the league a bit. After the turn of the year and the brilliant bit of business to bring in Brazillian forward Welliton from Spartak Moscow for £30,000,000 (which seems a bargain after he netted 20 times in serie A from January to May) he swapped it to a diamond in midfield with Silva playing in tho hole and it worked they finished 5th after slipping as far as 10th. I think Inter will prove too much for Sampdoria and take the 3 points It doesnt matter who partners Welliton up front be it Cisse, Lewandowski or Millito all 3 are international players. Neymar may have a fight on his hands when he comes bk from his injury. By Graeme Bailey (skysports) I hope u enjoyed my updates today, im gonna play a few games then write up breif match reviews and each time i turn off ill do a match preview on the next fixture and an extended review on that fixture as well once ive played it im really enjoying writing these updates up lol strange for me!!Edit: Jun 28, 12 6:40am

A new challenge has been suggested by ilveonjupiter:
5. Rising Stars - You, as the manager of Stevenage FC, have been given the almighty task of taking them up the divisions in an attempt to turn them into a 5* team and qualify for the knockout rounds of the Champions League having won the Premier League and FA Cup. You have no limit on transfers but you're going to have to be very shrewd in how you do your business! If anyone else has any challenges they would like to share, feel free! -------------------

FIRST 11 ![]() PLAYER PROFILES 1. Julio Cesar. The Brazillian shot stopper has been Internazionale's number 1 since joining from, Chievo in 2008. Manager D4N has been quoted as saying, "Cesar is the greatest keeper Ive worked with, irreplaceable." John Smith signed in the summer of 2011 but has only been a deputy to the ever present Julio Cesar. 13. Maicon The second of a very Brazillian feeling squad, Maicon is regarded as one of the best right backs in world football. Maicon joined Inter from Monaco in 2006, for an undisclosed fee. He flourished at the right back role under previous manager Jose Mourinhio and is the first choice RB under current manager D4N. "He had a fantastic season last year, and is so far this season, he is very similar to Brazil legend Cafu, he can run for days, technically gifted and a fantastic defender." Comments from D4N 6. Lucio (c) As soon as D4N was appointed manager in July 2011, his first major change was to hand Brazillian veteran Lucio The captains armband. It was a bold move to take the armband off club legend Javier Zanetti, but D4N saw Lucio as a born leader, "Lucio is as solid a centre half you'll wish to come across, he commands his defence and the players in front of him. Ive not seen anyone get the better of him anyway, great in the air as well gives you another option attacking set pieces along with defending them." Lucio signed from Bayern Munich in 2009 for an undisclosed fee. 15. Mats Hummels This summer arrival has walked his way into the side. A club record fee for a defender of £29,000,000 was spent on this young lads potential and he has it in abundance. The German international came from Bourissia Dourtmand and Inter manager D4N has shown how much faith he has in him, "Mats is a very good young defender, yes we took a huge gamble on him with the transfer fee but we new he was world class, as hes proven since he signed." His ability can be in no doubt as he has kept out Subotic and Samuel to retain is place in the team. 3. Filipe Luiz Filipe Luiz was one of D4N's first signings when he was appointed manager. D4N wanted to take Zanetti away from the left full back position as he thought he was best suited to the holding role in midfield. Although Davide Santon was bought in during the transfer window D4N has shown his faith in Filipe, "As u know Filipe was one of our best players last season, he uses his pace to get back and help out but is also another option we have going forward." Inter signed Filipe from Athletico Madrid for £8,500,000 in August 2011. 4. Yann M'vila M'vila was signed this summer on a season long loan with the option to buy if Inter wish to meet the £20,000,000 buy out clause in his contract. Yann operates just in front of the back four as a holding midfielder, doing all the dirty work basically, "Yann is a fantastic talent and we have been impressed with him so far, he is great at tidying up in midfield but is also an excellent passer of the ball, we are looking to agree a fee with Rennes for his services permanently." 21. David Silva David Silva cost Internazionale an estimated £50,000,000. You would think a certain amount of pressure may come with the price tag, but Silva looks far from a man under pressure. Last seasons most assists with 22 and scoring 15 goals from the right side of midfield David Silva looks like hes proven hes worth. "David had a brilliant campaign last time round, hes a lot similar to Lionel Messi in the sense that he has close control and a low centre of gravity, his ability to find a pass in the most awkward of positions is second to none." 11. Nico Gatian Nico Gataian signed from Benfica for £15,000,000 in August 2011. That's proved to be a bargain buy. Last season he played deputy to Andrei Arshavin for most of the campaign, but towards the end of last year he took is opportunity and never looked back. "He has quick feet and is very skill full, his pace is phenomenal and he can chip in with the odd goal. Future Argentine star in my eyes, if he keeps doing what hes doing he has the potential to become one of the best players in the world." 8. Alan Dzgoev Signed this summer for £28,000,000 from CSKA Moscow, the 23 year old as quickly settled in to life in Milan and became one of the first names on the team sheet. Many have tipped him to become a future captain of the club already. "Im surprised other teams had not noticed this lad before we did, hes such a clever player on and off the ball. He's very similar to Zinedine Zidane, and if he gets to anywhere near the level of him, we have found some player." He likes to play just off the two forwards, and most times he plays he dictates the game for such a young lad he looks like a seasoned professional each time he takes to the field. 9. Neymar Jr. Neymar signed this summer on loan from parent club Santos, with the option to buy should Inter want to stump up the astonishing £65,000,000 to secure him permanently. It hasn't been a great time for the 20 year old at the moment. He had a fantastic preseason, showcasing his skills and scoring in all 3 preseason friendlies. But in the second leg of the Eurpoa League qualifier against Hearts, Neymar went down after a collision with Ryan Mcgowen and suffered Medial collateral damage, ruling him out of action until Chritsmas at least. "Neymar has been very unlucky, hes a great player and would of chipped in with a few goals I'm sure had he been fit, we need to assess him again in 3 weeks to get a guarantee of how long he'll be absent for. Until then we have Lewandowski, Cisse and Millito as cover so its not all bad." 20. Welliton Welliton joined in January last season as cover for Zarate who was on loan from Lazio but was out injured. He wasn't obviously just bought in to cover, at £30,000,000 and relatively unknown it was seen as a gamble by D4N. Welliton was quick to answer his critics scoring on his debut against AS Roma, he then went on to score 20 goals from January to May taking his team back up to 5th almost single handed. This season Welliton has replaced Forlan as the main focal point in attack and fellow Braziilian Neymar was bought in to partner him but unfortunately suffered injury and at the moment he has numerous strike partners as the question seems to be for D4N, who do i play up top with Welliton? "Welly has been a revelation since he signed, 20 goals in 5 months is an unbelievable goal return, and he's continued with 4 so far already this season. He's obviously a natural goal scorer and he has lightening pace, other teams just cant seem to handle him." I did have player pictures next to there names but didnt realise was only allowed 2 URLs my bad ! owell lol

I am aware that you have had to wait a while for my New Brighton Update, sorry, here it is.
![]() A GOOD START TO A PROMISING SEASON Brighton Have had a great first three months. Some of the Highlights were Gary Greer's Header Against Leicester On the opening day in which we won 3-1, LuaLua Taking a brilliant penalty later that same game, then the week later, we played Middlesborough and drew 1-1. LuaLua took a roasting free kick in the 39th minute, only for Rhys Williams to score in the 65th. unfortunately, in the week, On Tuesday the 26th, We Suffered a home loss to Leeds 2-1. McCormack got a double, and a glimmer of hope came when Sol Campbell deflected in a LuaLua Free kick, but that hope was soon shut down when Becchio bagged a header in the 92nd Minute. On the last game of August , on the 31st, we beat Burnley 1-0, with a stupendous strike from Robert Pires, which turned out to be the winner and runner up to Goal of the Month of August, we had 7 points of a possible 9. ![]() LuaLua Signature Celebration ![]() Becchio after scoring against Brighton PART 2 AND 3 Later -------------------

![]() 5 out 7 in at Borussia Dortmund ![]() Blaszczykowski leaves Dortmund Out Robert Lewandowski - £25,000,000 - A bid of £25,000,000 for a striker who only scored 18 goals was too much for me to turn down. He is a very good player but i felt with that money we could strengthen in 1 or 2 other positions. Jakub Blaszczykowski - £5,000,000 - Never impressed me last season. He has good pace yes but he couldn't score to save his life. When QPR came in with the bid, even though it was £1,000,000 under his price i accepted. Łukasz piszczek - £5,000,000 - Good defender, would definitely be in my starting 11 this season if he hadn't put in a transfer request and upset the board so they sold him at a cut price! İlkay Gündoğan - £7,000,000 - I had much better targets in mind for the CDM position and whenever he got a chance to impress he never did and for £7,000,000 i had to sell. Ivan Perisic - £6,500,000 - He is a good player but i saw him as going to waste. He was on the bench week after week and was never getting played. I also saw better players that i could bring in for his position who are younger and have better potential. In Manoel Reina - Academy - He is a great player who starts at a 65 and has the potential 85-91. He is a quick tricky winger who i will look to send out on loan in January. Welliton - £25,500,000 - A direct replacement for Lewandowski. He is a very quick striker who is great at finishing and he also is pretty good at getting assists due to his pace. He can play on the wing or up front and in either position he is a threat. Gary Madine - £3,900,000 - He is a very good young striker with decent potential. I felt we needed something different, like a target man, and Madine fits that role well. He is a very good header of the ball and is also good on the ground. Eder Luis - £6,500,000 - I was flicking through Benfica's squad when i saw him. He has lighting pace, he is skillful and can dribble very well. I saw he was transfer listed and he was the guy i was going to replace Blaszczykowski with. Wakaso Mubarak - £3,500,000 - He is the definition of a beast. The CDM is back up for Sven Bender and M'Bia but could easily fit into the first team due to his amazing Physical attributes. Cicinho - £3,500,000 - Łukasz Piszczek's replacement. He is a very fast defender with great stamina who likes to get forward and trouble the opposition. He will be key for our counter attacking pplay. Adryan - £14,500,000 - The 18 year old wonderkid had impressed me in a pre season friendly so i decided to snap him up. He reminded me of a younger Ronaldinho so i offered him a 5 year deal and £14,000 per week. Gabriel - £8,500,000 - I think this will be the biggest coup i have managed yet. He has amazing potential and is only 19. I think i will slowly add him to the first team as i have such high expectations from him. Starting XI Weidenfeller Cicinho - Subotic - Hummels - Schennikov Bender - M'Bia Adryan - Gotze - Martin Welliton
