I am doing a private Hull Career, and I got promoted (1st Place FTW! ) but although enjoyed my 1st season, It was VERY Unrealistic as Fryatt scored 75 goals. Was good though.
I Don't think my team is Premier league class though, in fact, Fryatt is my only premier-class player, so I am currently loading up on cheap PL Players.
Any suggestions? Marvell Wynne Emile Heskey Deco

Had a tough game against QPR and Lost 3-0.Peter Gulacsi was awful, considering a replacement for him. Then in the carling cup against Crawley. Won 2-0 after a Heskey double. ITS HESKEY TIME!! [/color]
It certinately is
I have started as Leeds United and I have brought in Johnny Russell (4.5m), Stefano Guberti (free), Bobo Balde (free), Sammy Clingan (1.6m) and Marvell Wynne (500k). I am aiming for automatic promotion but I will be happy if I get into the playoffs and win it with the players I have brought in. I have sold lots of deadwood including Pugh, Kisnorbo and Rachubka so I still have 3m in my transfer kitty. I opened the season with a 3-2 win over promotion rivals Southampton with goals from Andros Townsend and Johnny Russell and an own goal from Hooiveid right before half time. Their goals came from Ivan Klasnic and Adam Lallana. I am still looking to bring in a goalkeeper (Alex Smithies, Adam Bogdan or Adam Federici) and another CB (Jason Shackell, Paul Scharner or Mike Williamson).

With Leeds I then lost 5-2 too local rivals Barnsley with Matty Fryatt getting 4 of them 5 goals for Barnsley. I then beat Coventry 2-0 with goals from Delph and Snodgrass and then beat Reading in a 4-3 thriller with me being 4-0 up after 30 minutes but then I had both Lonergan and Maik Taylor sent off which meant they had 2 penaltys and they scored them both to my dismay. They pulled one back with Marvell Wynne in goal but I held on. In the league cup I beat Burnley 1-0 and Swindon 2-0. Additionally to those signings in my other update I signed Agbonlahor, Baheback and Smithies as after selling Becchio and Forssel it left me with just 2 strikers and I would of had no backup but sometimes I use Guberti and Snodgrass as strikers as they are ok up front. I could imagine Agbonlahor and Johnny Russell ripping up the Championship now. Burnley up next.

Leeds had a great September remaining unbeaten for the whole course of the month. Our first game, at home to Burnley at Elland Road was a spectacular piece of entertainment as a Johnny Russell hattrick helped us to a 6-3 win at the expense of a poor Burnley side. We then travelled to top of the league Peterborough and earned a draw thanks to a spectacular free kick from Guberti in the 86th minute. Then we hosted Millwall but despite having 27 shots we scored 2 and won 2-1. The fourth match of the month was a tough away match at Watford and thanks to a double from Snodgrass we won 2-1. In the our last league match of the month was a 1-1 home draw at Leicester City.
In the league cup we beat Newcastle 2-1 thanks to an absolutely stunning double from Marvell Wynne.

Rafa Benitez confirmed as Chelsea manager!
Former Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez has been confirmed as Chelsea boss after the sacking of Carlo Ancelotti. Chelsea were in the driving seat for a second Premier League title in a row, before they derailed badly and ended up having a shocking run in November losing to the likes of Sunderland 3-0. "I have always been looking forwards to getting back to management in the Premier League and when Ancelotti got sacked I had put my name in the hat straight away." Benitez said. He is looking at former Liverpool legend Michael Owen, Superb Barca winger/striker David Villa or Edison Cavani from Italian side Napoli to strengthen his Attack whilst he is expected to make a bids for Thiago Silva and Mario Fernandes to add to his defence. In midfield he is looking at Kevin Prince-Boateng, Mesut Ozil or Ganso to add to his options.

Ian Holloway resigns from Blackpool job! Blackpool boss Ian Holloway has resigned from the Blackpool job with immediate effect after relegation from the Premier League. He has admitted that he has had wonderful times at Blackpool but admitted he wanted a break from football so he can spend more time with his family and friends. Ian Holloway said emotionally "I am here to tell all Blackpool fans that my time is over with this club for now. Many wonderful things have happened while I have been here and this has been a very enjoyable job. I'd like to spend lots more time with the family I have helped bring up as I do not get much time with my family and I would like to wish the club and the new manager that they will do really well."However the vacancy has been very popularly discussed already. Most people tip Argentinian legend Diego Maradona or Swedish coach Simon Andersson ( Sigge) to take over but managers like Steve Bruce, Lee Clark and Dean Ashton have applied to take over the reins at Blackpool. Things look very interesting at the seaside to say the least... However Blackpool's owners say that they are going to delay naming the manager until they have a suitable number of applicants to the job, so they can discuss and be picky with choosing their manager for next season. Dean Ashton confirmed as Seasiders boss! Former West Ham and Norwich City striker Dean Ashton has been confirmed as the boss of Blackpool for the 2011/2012 season after the resignation of Ian Holloway.
This came as a shock for many Blackpool fans as they were hoping for someone more successful and with more managerial experience. Despite being only 28 years old Ashton is determined to become managerial hot property. In his 9 year playing career he converted 93 goals in just 249 appearances as he played 159 times for Crewe Alexandra and scored 61 goals. Then he moved for 3m to Norwich City were he made 44 appearances and scored 17 goals. After that he played 46 times for Blackpool's promotion rivals West Ham and scored 15. "I have always wanted to become a manager of a club high up in the football league pyramid and to have my first job at a club with the status of Blackpool is just... amazing." Ashton said in his first interview. One Blackpool fan, Bob Heskey said that despite this being a cautious move by the Blackpool boardroom he was sure it would be a successful move. On the other hand Ben Dover, another Blackpool fan said that this will be a failure and that Blackpool will endure an awful season with Ashton at the helm. We can only wait and see what unravels in the year to come. Blackpool start the season with a home fixture at Derby County. Sotf Edit: May 01, 12 11:25am

February 8th 2012.
Championship review.
This seasons Championship season has been very entertaining with lots of teams going for success, as teams like West Ham, Crystal Palace, Birmingham, Derby County, Hull City, Leicester City and Reading all had potential promotion class squads along with Blackpool, Southampton, Portsmouth and Cardiff.
Blackpool have been a very entertaining side this season under the helm of former West Ham striker Dean Ashton. They are strolling through a league where they were only tipped to finish in 11th place and really they should easily get promoted. They are 16 points ahead of nearest rivals Leicester City and Birmingham City. With Crystal Palace following 20 points behind, Derby County 22 points behind and Portsmouth complete the playoffs 25 points behind. Blackpool have earned 75 magnificent points and are the league’s top scorers.
The weird thing is, the team predicted to win the league: West Ham United, are in 9th place 4 points outside the playoffs and will be disappointed with how they have done this season. Despite conceded the second least goals and having prolific 22 goal striker Kevin Doyle, West Ham have had some awful results, more noticeably getting demolished 3-0 by Doncaster Rovers and losing at home to Millwall 2-1.
Here is how the top of the Championship looks:
Blackpool 75 pts Leicester 59 pts --------------------------- Birmingham 59 pts Crystal Palace 55 pts Derby County 53 pts Portsmouth 50 pts ---------------------------- Reading 49 pts Hull 49 pts West Ham 46 pts Leeds United 43 pts Cardiff City 43 pts Nottm Forest 42 pts

Alan Shearer takes over at Newcastle.
Newcastle United have appointed legendary striker Alan Shearer as manager again 2 years after relegation to the Championship in which Shearer was also at the helm at the club.
What do the fans think?!?!?
Ben Dover: Last time Shearer didn't do a great job but this time he will.
Steve Craddock: We could of done better with the choice of manager really.
James James: He was my favourite player so obviously it was a good move to put him as manager.
Alan Shearer said "It is amazing being at the helm of such a prestigious club especially as it is my favourite club aswell. I hope to turn these into the best in the league and hopefully win the Champions League with Newcastle.

 Newcastle draw 2-2 with Arsenal.
A late Demba Ba equaliser salvaged a draw against a dominant Arsenal side as both Newcastle and Arsenal shared the points.
Newcastle were unlucky in the opening stages of the match, with Fabricio Coloccini heading into the post and Demba Ba smashing his shot into the post, but a wondergoal from Coloccini had put Newcastle ahead. After Per Mertersacker headed the ball out of the box from Yohan Cabaye's corner. Coloccini connected to it perfectly and half scissor kicked it into the top corner. Fabianski had no chance in the Arsenal goal.
Van Persie equalised with a goal that could challenge Coloccini's goal come the end of the season for goal of the season. After Alexander Pato's shot had been blocked, Van Persie picked up the ball from 30 yards and rifled it into the top corner with absolute precision. Wonderful goal.
Coloccini gave away a penalty for mistiming his tackle on Van Persie but Van Persie smashed the resulting penaly wide. Awful penalty. 2 minutes later Song headed Arsenal into the lead from a Van Persie cross.
In the 87th minute Newcastle new-boy Nathan Dyer cut back for Demba Ba to slide in.

The rest of Newcastle United's August results:
Sunderland 4-5 Newcastle
What a match! I was hoping my deadly front three of Dembele, Ba and Cisse would come out on top of Sunderland and it did! We took the lead through Dembele's curling screamer but they equalised from a tap in with Craig Gardener. I went back into the lead with Dembele scoring and they equalised again. Cisse then got a hat-trick and Gardener and Mcclean got their other goals. Newcastle 4-2 Fulham Easy match. *bleep*ing Dempsey got 2 goals in the last 5 minutes though. We got too see first impressions of both Marvell Wynne and Angelo Ogbonna aswell and they were great. Newcastle's transfer dealings: IN: Dembele (Ln fee 8m), Danny Murphy (1.8m), Rickie Lambert (1.7m), David Beckham (900k), Nathan Dyer (7.5m), Marvell Wynne (500k), Angelo Ogbonna (14.5m), Javier Zanetti (Ln Fee £100). OUT: Danny Guthrie (3m, Bayern Munich), Leon Best (4.7m, Parma), Sammy Ameobi (700k, Blackpool), James Perch (1.1m, Birmingham), Steve Harper (£0, Olympiakos). "We felt that the central defensive are needed improving the most and that we needed more backup in CM so we picked up experianced players in Danny Murphy, David Beckham and Javier Zanetti, hopefully they will bring the class from their day here." Shearer said. Newcastle United currently lie second behind Chelsea with 7 points from an available 9. Sotf
