HUDDERSFIELD TOWN (Season One)LEAGUE ONEAfter 25 games the table looks like this 1 Sheffield Wednesday – 53 2 Sheffield United – 51 3 Huddersfield Town – 494 Preston NE – 47 Golden BootChris Porter (Sheffield United) 15 Jordan Rhodes (Huddersfield Town) 14Iain Hume(Preston NE) 12 Well after a comfortable victory at home to Stevenage in 16# all was well as we hit the top of the table. Despite drawing to Charlton and Yeovil we retained top spot thanks to wins over Brentford, Colchester United and Chesterfield before it all went slightly wrong. Firstly we let a 3-1 and 4-2 lead slip against Wycombe, eventually drawing 4-4. Then came a top of the table clash against Sheffield Wednesday, which the referee helped them to a 2-1 win courtesy of a late Clinton Morrison strike. In 25# we looked to have recovered against Charlton after Jordan Rhodes scored early on, only to concede late on to draw again. McCombe is out for 3 months with a broken collarbone which is really bad news.FA CUPAn easy 2-0 win away at Chesterfield in Round 2 means we now face a trip to the County Ground to face Nottingham Forest.LEAGUE CUPAnd so a trip to South Wales looking to slay another Premier League team, Swansea City. We made a torrid start as Danny Graham and Jussie put the Welsh side 2-0 up, although Nyatanga and Arslan missed good chances that gave us hope. Hope indeed as an inspired sub got us back in the game with 18 left on the clock, Donal McDermott cutting in from the right and firing low past Vorm. 4 minutes late we were level, Sordell was brought down from behind and Jordan Rhodes despatched the penalty. Into extra time and the most unlikely comeback was complete when after a cross was half cleared by Tait, Jack Hunt headed the ball into the path of Marvin Sordell, who executed a sublime bicycle kick to send the travelling fans barmy.
Quarter-Final day, Chelsea at home...and what a start...for them. A 3-0 lead at half time thanks to a brace from the formidable Fernando Torres and a low drive from Sturridge. We managed to get a goal after the break through a Rhodes penalty but almost immediately Sturridge made it 4-1. We kept fighting and Rhodes did it again, dribbling past Alex before firing low into Cech’s right hand corner. In injury time Rhodes completed his hat trick, Cech spilling a cross allowing the Huddersfield hitman to smash home. Gutted to go out but 3-4 at home to Chelsea was a great result in the end. I love you man...

I don't bug out as I'm offline...with unsettled players, the majority tend to sign on in the end. Only had one occasion when they didn't when I lost Miccoli and Hernandez with Palermo.

They are all pretty easy teams to achieve success with, Spurs are probaly the toughest as their strikeforce is crap.

Zaha deffo Sordells Bleep Sordell is a great foil if you play him upfront with a good finisher. Sordell - Rhodes = GOALS!

Just entering the January transfer window with Huddersfield, great timing considering its the 31st today.
Lee Novak has left as has James Spencer who was out on loan.
Really want to bring in a forward but funds are limited. Won't do an updates as they just get lost.
